“This was my favorite pub. We spent a great deal of time and money there. Good friends made, both staff and locals. Unfortunately, the manager, has no class and a bad attitude. The Runner is on suspension, for me, for 60 days. If it ever happens again, I won’t spend another £ there. Reply - I am not about to Dox anybody. We love the food, atmosphere and friendships. The absolute majority of your staff is excellent. A little bit of tact goes a long way though, as opposed to a “Shoosh”. You should indeed have a conversation with managers about how they deal with people, especially some that drop 500 quid a month. Thanks, Ollie, Very Best. Update - The Running Mare has definitely upped their game. Give credit where credit is due. This is a wonderful place where You will find kind and interesting people. The first time Owen did my hair, he totally transformed a botched home dye job (a failed lightening and colour change attempt, which left me with vibrant pink roots and dull red length - a complete horror show) to a stunning brunette balayage with rose gold highlights. Owen’s new salon is so stunning and provides a really unique salon experience, which truly goes the extra mile with thoughtful extra details to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I can always trust that i’ll come away with a renewed boost of confidence, loving my hair and looking forward to my next visit. I cannot recommend this salon enough, if I could give more than 5 stars I would!”
