“Called in the week to ask advice on an office chair for home. After chatting it through it with them, they suggested I pop in to test them out. Visited the shop on Saturday and the man who served me was super helpful. Great recommendation, friendly and even helped me to the car with my new office chair. I've noticed the difference in my back just after one day. Much better than buying online as you get to try them and the chair comes fully assembled. “I can’t recommend this place highly enough for anyone looking for a brilliant nursery for their child. My daughter has just spent two very happy years at York Road Nursery. Every member of staff is kind, friendly and professional, without exception. Like many people, I was nervous about leaving my daughter somewhere new but from day one my fears were alleviated because I could see how much the staff genuinely care for the children and how well looked after they are. I believe it is a real bonus that they are qualified teachers too which has really helped to prepare my daughter for school. There is a big emphasis on spending time outdoors and my daughter absolutely loved her time at forest school. Thank you to everyone at the centre - I know she’ll miss going there every day!”

“I brought my dog in after he had been attacked by another dog. I was in shock and the receptionists were FANTASTIC, they jumped into action straight away and made sure both me and my boy were okay. The vet and the nurse were also fantastic! Our dog has severe issues at the vets, which added to my concern in the situation (and his, most likely!) but they were so very kind and patient with him. It ended up being not too bad of a wound, and I can't express how grateful I am to them for helping both him and myself in a really stressful situation. I was a bit of a mess when I arrived and was MUCH calmer by the end of the visit, which is entirely down to the wonderful staff being so attentive and caring with my boy. Based on this visit, I could not recommend Alder's enough :)”

Coffee was also good so we were very impressed with our visit and will definitely return to check out the champagne brunch deal (any breakfast dish, glass of champagne and juice or coffee for £17.95) Tip- if you’re driving into town then it’s best to park at the Castle Street or Sydenham Road car park and wander down to the restaurant.”

“We have been with Pet Doctors Guildford since getting our puppy in January of this year. They have been unfailingly kind, supportive and knowledgeable. We've had a few scares due to being first time puppy 'parents' but they have held our hands throughout and called back so promptly when I've asked for help. Our dog was recently neutered and they could not have been more caring and sensitive to his needs. Very very highly recommended.”

Would highly recommend this practice. He was firstly treated by Vets Now at Stockton by Nick and Hannah who were amazing and then handed over to another vet whose name I forget unfortunately and Meryl. “I just purchased a Sleep Story Luxury 2000 divan set and was very impressed with the whole set up at Furniture Village Guildford. Talking to a properly qualified salesman (Ian McPhee) who actually knew what he was talking about was like a breath of fresh air. I also visited Dreams & DFS but couldn’t find anyone to help without them reading off the description cards attached to the beds. Ian was absolutely brilliant and a very nice chap also.”

My youngest loved the baby part and eldest loved the waves. Only let down it smells like chlorine, but expected. Eyes gets a bit sensitive.”
