“I didn't eat at this restaurant however I broke down outside the restaurant and the lovely man working that night came out to check on me twice and asked if I wanted to sit inside while I waited for someone to tow my car. They let me use their facilities as well which I really appreciated. Seeing this kind of service really made my evening after my car breaking down and I would 100% eat here after seeing that service”

“Our first pizza with them. Didn't even know they existed in Surbiton, but on the links and Google maps domino doesn't show but your competitor!! However, the delivery was very fast and the pizza was actually quite hot in temp and the Italian style base was amazing. It tasted so fresh and a welcome surprise to recent pizzas from others in our area. Thank you.”

“Booked online giving details of our visit and our celebrations and preferred seating! Brilliant seat looking out to river! Then Gemma our waitress introduced herself and she was amazing! Attentive but not overbearing or hovering over us! Food stunning! Then our desserts arrived with chocolate written Happy Birthday for my husband and I had the Happy Anniversary one! (Yes .....we did get married on his birthday!) Atmosphere and music great and sat outside by the river relaxing for a while after with drinks just relaxing! It was the day of the train strike and Uber and taxis letting us down but Siobhan stopped what she was doing to get us a cab firm and that was successful! I last came here many many years ago on the same date to celebrate and did not enjoy the experience at all.....sitting near to kitchen which had a swing door and heard shouting and offensive language every time that door opened which completely ruined our day so you can imagine it took a lot to come back....but took a chance again as heard through the grapevine how nice it is! So glad we did and look forward very much to further visits!! Thankyou again!”

“Absolutely adore Kokoro ever since I moved to Kingston a few years ago. They’ve recently opened up shop in Surbiton and I’m so glad they have as I live locally and simply cannot fault these guys. The food is fresh, absolutely delicious and the portion size is always generous. They are consistently great with both hot dishes & cold foods (sushi / salads) and 100% worth every penny. It’s a great lunch time spot with plenty of different options to choose from as well as being pretty affordable for a “meal out”. I recently ordered a sushi party platter* for my household for my birthday and it was out of this world! Will continue to eat at Kokoro Surbiton and would encourage anyone who passes by or lives in the area to try their food ASAP! * I specifically requested for salmon sashimi but their original platter includes both Salmon & Tuna!”

“The 5 stars are for the staff, who are outstanding. They're generous with their information and level of service. The parking experience is quite daunting, it's basically a narrow route underground, which is supposed to be used by two way traffic. The car park is pretty smelly when you get there.”

“Welcoming hot tea with beautiful flower was absolutely pleasure to start dining. All plates were displayed gorgeous and the taste is even better. I am a serious sashimi & sushi fan and haven’t had much places like Sushi Hero in London where providing this high quality of tuna sashimi as you can tell by freshness. It just melt in your mouth. Other hot dishes were omg level of its taste!!!! Staff were so warm & friendly thank you and I am definitely visiting again soon!”

Chef Giulio excels and pretty much cooks to order and in your time frame; and lovely Luisa is his perfect front of house. Extensive and unusual wine list Nowhere like it. A must do experience. Highly recommended.”

“We shared the Brown Butter Smash Burger and The Elvis. Both burgers were delicious, Brown Butter was the favourite. Best burger I've had in a long time. Rosemary and thyme fries were excellent too. Will definitely order again. Staff were nice too. Great to have such a good burger place in Tolworth”

“Our favorite local Italian. Gianni is a great gentleman - he always greet locals/regulars with a big smile and nice gestures. We’ve loved this place from our fist visit in 2018 and continue to do so. Needless to say their Neapolitan pizzas and pastas are exquisite! It’s casual and family friendly too. Go, relax and enjoy company with beautifully cooked dishes by skilled Italian chefs.”

“We stopped whilst on shift as we had a quiet spell at this lovely Cafe. The food was amazing, cooked perfectly the staff were brilliant. The Manager was a lovely person and not only did he make sure our food was perfect we had it on the house as he said one for the NHS. My crewmate and I were very moved by his generous gesture. “Great little Japanese/Korean restaurant. Friendly service and freshly cooked food at very reasonable prices. We had two of the lunchtime set menu options and both were good. I recommend the spicy chicken. We washed it down with a warm carafe of sake. Highly recommended...we will go again soon.”
