“Like many other parents my husband and I were in complete turmoil as to whether to go for helmet treatment for our 6 month old. Mr Saeed Hamid held initial consultations with us over Facetime (given the Covid-19 pandemic) when our son Rish was 4 months old. He kindly provided us with free advice to help us try and combat the flat spot that had developed naturally before even discussing any formal treatment options. He truly understood our view that treatment was something to be avoided if at all possible. After a couple of months of rigorous tummy time practice Rish's flat spot was still severe. We met with Mr Hamid at the Romford clinic to take some measurements and found that he had severe plagiocephaly (measuring 10.85mm on the asymmetry index). After a lot of deliberation we decided to go ahead with helmet treatment and couldn't be happier that we did - in fact a huge weight had lifted once we'd made the decision. Some of our concerns centred around how it would impact Rish's sleep and quite honestly it didn't at all. After approximately 5 months of treatment (which now feels like a blip in our baby's life) we achieved a reduction to 5.53mm on the asymmetry index (mild-moderate), which we are extremely happy with. As part of our treatment we trialled the 3D printed helmet that LOC has developed - we found this worked great for us as it is lighter and more breathable which helped over the warmer months. Mr Hamid was a pleasure to deal with, very patient, never pushy and always realistic about what could be achieved. The administrative team at LOC were also super helpful with arranging appointments to suit our babies ever-changing nap schedule! Thank you so much to LOC for such a positive experience!”

“I am very impressed with this health centre. My Appointment was booked for October however due to the intense pain in my neck I decided to call the helpdesk to have a bit of a moan as waiting a month for a scan seemed outrageous. However when I called the helpdesk they managed to slot me in for that week Excellent. My visit to the clinic was extremely positive to. The appointment was bang on time and the staff were attentive professional and caring. The health Centre was spotlessly clean with refreshments available like tea and coffee. Parking is available outside the clinic on a sunday however there is a single yellow line. Results were received within a week. Incredible. Well done to all the staff that supported me during my visit. You are amazing!! Keep up the great work.”

“I'm not someone who normally leaves a review but I really wanted to express my thanks for such a great deep tissue massage from Aiga at havering therapy centre. I have had pain and knots in my shoulders and neck for several months , I was put at ease when conducting a medical questionnaire and straight away knew that the therapist had an indepth knowledge of the body and various massages and treatments that would help me. After the massage Aiga said It was apparent that my pain was related to stress and recommended a holistic massage next time I visit. “I thought I’d write my experiences with Dr Olivia in treating my condition as it helped me so much, in case anyone else is going through the same. I slept on my arm and I woke up to not being able to feel my thumb and index finger, my wrist were also drooping. It all felt numb. I knew that I compressed my nerve (later found out I compressed the median and flexor nerve). After the first treatment, the numbness of my index finger was significantly relieved, enough so I could work. After the second treatment, the numbness of my thumb was it felt even more relieved, and I could actually bend my fingers. After the third treatment, the numbness of the index finger and thumb were so much better, and the wrist could be turned and rotated. After five treatments, I have basically returned to normal. All the treatment also adjusted my shoulder and neck stiffness, and I can do work with my right hand. I know in the future I need to increase my arm strength. I am very grateful to Dr Olivia for giving me timely treatment. She helped right away with no waiting and Dr Olivia is very experienced, gentle and very friendly. I am incredibly lucky to meet her as she made my hands recover quickly. I strongly recommend Dr Olivia if anyone has similar problems to me.”
