Marugame Udon / 丸亀製麺 Brent Cross
“First visit today, not busy as it was near closing time. We had the Two Pork Tonkotsu and Chicken Paitan. Staff were all friendly, nice and helpful. Pleasant atmosphere. The Udon is absolutely delicious and freshly made. We didn't have to add any condiments as the flavour were perfect for us. Truly enjoyable. We will definitely be back to try other dishes.”
Sachi
“Such a stunning setting. Very inviting and relaxing. One of the best Japanese restaurants I’ve come across in London! The service is second to none. Nothing is too much trouble for the team. Top that with incredibly delicious Japanese cuisine and it feels like you’ve been transported directly to Japan! If you’re in the area, do yourself a favour and book a meal at Sachi. You will not be disappointed”
COCORO
“Great food! We ordered all you can eat Sukiyaki, the service is great and the beef is fresh and tasty! The sesame ice cream is also very good! Highly recommended.”
Ta Ke Sushi
“My first visit. It is located near Ealing Common station. A big restaurant with a very wide selection of Japanese food, excellent service and nice ambience. The sushi, veg tempura and the miso tofu we ordered were quite good. The seaweed wrap could be crisper. Will definitely return to try the rest of the food on the menu.”
YO! Windsor
“Jan and his team are excellent and so lovely! Myself and 5 others attended Sushi School here and we were so impressed with the knowledge and teaching! We learnt how to make sashimi, salmon nigiri, California rolls, and tempura prawn wraps. Great value for money!”
Kyosen Restaurant
“Really lovely Japanese and Korean food. Reasonable price. Good luck deal. It was so nice that I forgot to take photos only the last dish - Kimchi fried rice.”
Nazuki Garden
“At the beginning when I saw the cucumber salad, I thought it looked very ordinary, but after I took a bite of those cucumber slices, I was amazed by the balance among the sourness of the vinegar, the aroma of the sesame oil, and the freshness of the cucumber. It does remind me of the early spring days in Japan. The salmon fillet was a little bit overcooked, but I have to say that they did a great job with the miso sauce on the salmon cause it did bring out the umami from the salmon. I was here alone and it was really perfect for a quiet moment for myself after a long day.”
Oiwai
“The sushi’s that we had ordered were amazing! The food was well presented and was full of flavour - I recommend, can’t wait to go back”
Sasa
“Very good. Tasty and reasonable prices! Will go again, but expect more friendly service.”
IRO Sushi
“Very good value for money. Sushi was good for what you are paying and is presented nicely with good choice of bubble teas. Atmosphere of restaurant could be improved”
Kata kitchens @ Brouhaha bar
“I've never liked sushi. Tried it a few times from supermarkets, restaurants in West London and a few others. My experience at this place has changed that. Defne the waitress made sure we had an excellent meal, advising us what to have (even the eel), ensuring we both had time to consider our choices, then brought food to our table without delay. She even thought ahead to bring us the necessary utensils to help us share the food we ordered - sharing a burger is messy without a sharp knife cutting it down the middle etc. Such waitressing skills may sound unsurprising, but sadly they are rarely seen to Defne's standard of attitude, ambiance and professionalism. As well as the superior service, the food was really excellent too and has changed what I look for in a sushi restaurant. Well, I probably won't go anywhere else for sushi, I suppose.”
Kobe Jones
“Thank you Yo Sushi - if you had a table free we would never have found this amazing place We love fine food but a trip to the Glades doesn’t normally bring a gourmet delight to mind but now we have found Kobe Jones we will be back again and again. If you live anywhere near Bromley go and try it with an open mind because if we lose it we’ll only have ourselves to blame. Every course of the small plates we had was exceptional The yellow fin tuna in the picture was exquisite but the rest was equally good and so beautifully presented (was too busy eating to take pics) The wine and drinks list is also brilliant with some really interesting wines beers & sake The service was brilliant as well from the lovely girl front of house to Josue our waiter who was attentive, knowledgeable and lovely. Best place by far in Bromley”
Tuk Tuk Pan Asian Addlestone
“Ordered last night. Very tasty food. Would recommend for those who love Thai”
Bone Daddies Putney
“Great find! Walking through Putney with a rumble in the belly for something tasty to eat. Walked by all the usual burger, chicken, fries suspects and then the god of good choices illuminated the way. Inviting from the outside, super friendly from the inside (thank you Michelle). It was a perfect trifecta of good recommendations, great flavours and brilliant service. We’ll be back!!”
Pidgin
“Fantastically creative menu with total attention to detail! Every dish had something special going on, with ingredients that I found harmonised within and throughout courses. There are very talented chefs here, and our waiters were friendly and helpful. I was possibly expecting Pidgin to be over-hyped but I was proven wrong. Definitely worth a visit.”
Papayaya
“Highly recommend this place for authentic Pan-Asian food. I am a great pan-asian food lover and would absolutely vouch for the taste and flavours. Their Chicken is Halal. Very friendly and accommodating staff and great tasting food, match made in heaven. Been there four times now, and the quality and taste is unchanged. And yes great value for money and good portions.”
Kakki katsu
“Food here is amazing. Came here 5-6 times and never been disappointed. Food quality is really good, especially compared to its price it is really cheap. Must come place if you are local”
The Sushi Co - Ealing
“One of the best sushi places I’ve been to in a long time, enjoyed it with friends and family at home. They have a large variety and if you want to try all, they have a selection box too. Very easy to order and great customer service. Lovely presentation, highly recommend! Next time, I defo want to try the goli soda drinks too.”
Sokury
“OMG I love this place, been going since it opened & still visit from out of county to get our fix! Small establishment but have never been disappointed with the food & would definitely recommend.”
Pokie & Roll
“Returning customers. Great food served in front of you. Very clean and various foods for all. The atmosphere is great and staff are really friendly and welcoming. It's our favourite place to eat in Kingston. They are also generous with the food so you won't leave feeling hungry. Give this place a try. Ps. Me and my wife love the pokie and roll.”
Uncle Lim's South Croydon
“Tasty food with good prices. Pretty decor and cosy feel. Friendly waitress so can't ask for more. Wish they did a few more choices of sushi rolls”
Sticks'n'Sushi Chelsea
“Great casual sushi experience. The vibe was great, specially as it started getting busy. Sushi was unapologeticly not as authentic but delivered great flavour and combinations. Everything was well prepared and the service was impeccable. Our waiter was always around and happy to assist with everything we needed. Wine list was unexpectedly comprehensive and the cocktails were very interesting. Definitely would recommend for a casual night out.”
The Sushi Co - Holborn
“Delicious sushi, very fresh ingredients - fish was exquisite. Very impressed. We had the sushi sharer platter for two, will be coming back and planning to show my colleagues this place as we work nearby. Decent price for good sushi in London. Cool venue too with a streety-vibe, and very friendly staff.”
Sushi Momoda
“Sushi Momoda has a bit of a monopoly in Rotherhithe. They offer fairly standard sushi - not the highest of quality but you should expect that. Their service is quick and the food is tasty enough!”
3AKE
“This is a great, dainty place to have some bottomless sushi!!! We went for brunch/lunch and it was £35 per person, after service charge it was about £78 for two people, no drinks. We got all the starters. Chicken gyoza was okay, octopus takoyaki was really good and tasty. The ebi fry also very good, well fried and tasty sauce. Salmon tartare was also surprisingly amazing, probably the best of the lot. For sushi we ordered two rounds, we got the spicy salmon, spicy ebiten, regular ebiten, seaweed maki and California sushi maki rolls. All were amazing, the best was the spicy ebiten, spicy salmon and California roll. We also got the sea bream, mango and steamed prawn Hosomaki roll which were also great, my favourite here would be the sea bream. The mango one is quite sweet but was interesting. The service was really good aswell, they come to you and ask if you want to order and top up your drinks, very good service. Location very nice and a very nice ambience to the whole place. I just wish we could have ordered more rounds because we did have time to, but I think two is the max. I would definitely recommend this place! The sushi is also very pretty when it comes out, picturesque.”
Yokoso Japan
“Nice, cozy restaurant on Barnet high street. Great food, big portions and good value for money. Excellent staff who are very attentive and helpful.”
The Bamboo Garden
“Tried this place for the first time, everything was delicious. The food was cooked just how I like Chinese (some places rice and noodles etc not the same) Spotless inside, and a (legit)5 rated food & hygiene, which is very reassuring. This is now my new local.”
East Street by Tampopo Fitzrovia
“Just passing, looked a good place so we went in. Not disappointed in any way. The staff were all attentive and we were soon seated and a drinks order taken. We shared a spring role starter ,there were 6 and it came with a tamarind sauce, nice presented on a leaf ... not the best but good enough. The mains were pad-thai I had prawns and the Royal version, wrapped in a omelette. Very nice, great taste and good spice levels. Drinks were not very cheap ,but that's Central London. Yes would go back.”
Taka Marylebone
“All of the seafood were fresh and tantalizing. Creativity underscores the presentation of each dish. The standout dishes were the wagyu sando, wagyu rice, and the most tender chicken we have ever tried. Veggie dishes are also available just in case you don't eat meat or fish. The service was top-notch.”
INKO NITO - Soho
“We went to INKO NITO to celebrate our friends engagement. We ordered the Set Menu, and it was fantastic - diverse food to try and super reasonable for the quality. The ambience was lovely and the staff were friendly, always available and just pleasant to chat to! Definitely worth trying if you like good Japanese food.”
