ASK Italian
● Closed“The Manzo Piccante was amazing. The beef was tender, and the red wine sauce was rich. The Sicilian lemon tart at the end was tasty and balanced.”
-
St Moritz Restaurant
● Closed“Was a great lunch out. The staff were amazing and helpful seeing as we were the first through the door. A small but comfy restaurant doesn't feel crowded with a lovely Alpine feel. The food was lovely. The Pate was quite rich so but still very nice. The prawn cocktail was well made and they weren't stingey with the prawns. Our main of the vegetable fondue was nice and the vegetables were nicely prepared. Will be returning to try out the different options on the menu.”

Rox - Restaurant Bar Club
● Closed“I’ve come to Rox’s countless amounts of times, not once have I been let down. The customer service here is beyond amazing, they really are all so lovely. The BBQ ribs are honestly the most tender and flavoursome ribs I have ever had, they never get it wrong. All the lambs and chicken are so filling with the generous portions and the drinks are incredible. I’ve tried majority of the menu and it’s all so incredible. I would highly recommend, always book a table because they’re always so busy and rightly so.”

Rosso Restaurant
● Closed“Top notch lunch today. Took my parents out for lunch as it is my mother's birthday. Chose the restaurant as they serve a Liver dish. My parents loved it. We also had Carbonara and mixed seafood Linguine plus a mahoosive plate of calamari, which my son devoured. Will have to make it a regular when choosing to eat out me thinks. Highly recommended.”

San Giorgio London
● Closed“I've been going to San Giorgio for years and have never been disappointed. I went with my wife and son who love this restaurant The atmosphere was great inside. The food was fantastic as always and the service brilliant. Cocktails were super. Really is good value for money. We were stuffed, not even room for a dessert. I had mentioned it was my wife's birthday and they shocked us at the end with a candle lit dessert and sang happy birthday which the other customers joined in. Thank you to Giorgio and staff for a great meal and night out. I would highly recommend this Italian restaurant above all others.”

Made in Italy
● Closed“Since the Wimbledon branch closed we were missing Made in Italy. The food was amazing and the service was exceptional. Sharing board had so many different tastes as well as pizza’s sourdough taste was distinct! I can say their pizza is one of the pest. Montepulciano wine we had was leaving a funny after taste. When told, our glasses were exchanged with wine from a new bottle immediately. I knocked the new wine glass but even that was replaced! Friendly staff and excellent Itallian food - Made in Italy continues to be our favorite!! Thank you:)”

Cecconi's City of London
● Closed“We are back home in Sydney now – the end of our 2 month holiday in Europe – but before we left London last Tuesday, we celebrated with a late lunch at one of our London faves Cecconi’s, in the beautiful Ned Hotel. If you haven’t been I highly recommend it as one of the most beautiful establishments around - from start to finish, around every corner, there is yet more to adore. Restaurants, cafes, bars… I will write a separate review about The Ned. We’ve eaten here several times - the food always consistently good. The staff less so unfortunately, though I should say, there is a pecking order of levels here, from basic servers to more senior waiters - this time we were lucky & our waiter was a dream - he dealt wonderfully with all my nitty gritty questions, knew all the answers and helped me so much, with no attitude whatsoever. He welcomed & in fact encouraged my questions, which is extremely rare! Wayne had a delicious Chardonnay - Cervaro Chardonnay, Castello della Sala, Umbria, which at £19 per glass you’d hope so! My non-alcoholic Punchy was perfect. We shared 2 entrees which were delicious - the Vitello Tonnato is one of the best. Very generous serve – tender & the sauce just right. Our mains were superb as well - my pasta was cooked al dente & the cheese was so refined. Personally I think a thinner pasta works better to soak up more sauce but it was delicious all the same. Wayne’s Veal was so tender & tasty. Rarely can we fit in dessert - how do people do it!”

La Tagliata - Italian Restaurant
● Closed“What an absolute treasure this restaurant is. Found via TripAdvisor as one of the few Italians open on a Monday and wow, we were lucky. The two pictured dishes were stunning and cooked to absolute perfection. Seafood is often wasted in restaurants but here they served two fishy starters without fault. The fresh pasta in the main course was devine and served with a slight bite, exactly as I like it. Staff were polite and attentive providing the level of service you expect from a good Italian. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a cosy couples meal.”
-
Fiore Dell Amore Italian Restaurant Shoreditch

-
Sicily Restaurant
● Closed“The food is amazing, fresh and made from scratch, a rarity these days. The restaurant reminded me of times gone by before mediocre food became acceptable. In my opinion all that is missing is a desert trolley (in my dreams : ) The service was very good, quick, came to check on us , and asked if all was OK several times throughout the meal. Give this place a go, you will not be disappointed.”
-
Oliver's Italian
● Closed“Really very good... The manager is truly passionate about food! So it's wonderful. If you expect a Risotto in 5-10 minutes, it's not fresh! Good food takes time... Try the Chianti by the glass as you wait...it's sublime! Recommended and I will return.”

London Marriott Hotel Maida Vale
● Open“Everyone here was amazing! This is among the best places I have stayed. I had to find lodging for almost a month and they gave me a temporary home. I truly felt welcome. Oualid, Lama, and Meerain went out of their way for me and I am forever grateful! The bar is always ready to take your order and provide a fantastic meal. The beds and showers are amazing. Don't go cheap, go Marriott!”

The staff is extremely kind. Everything is clean. Definitely not the last time, that I will be staying here. Worth all the money.”

Megan's at the Post Office Restaurant (Surbiton)
● Closed“Visited on Sunday with my boyfriend, have to say it was absolutely amazing, I had a flat white with oat milk, the vegan earth bowl with plant chicken added, and we shared the coconut and pumpkin cake. All the food and the coffee were perfect, couldn't fault it, the portion sizes were really good too. Lovely interior in the restaurant as well and nice music playing, if slightly loudly. The only minor issue was that the menu said adding the plant based chicken to the salad I had was £4 but the receipt said £5 (didn't notice until I'd already paid).”
-
Meadow Restaurant
● Closed“This was my first time visiting the Meadow restaurant, a short walk from Ealing Broadway station. The staff were extremely attentive, and very accommodating to my allergen requirements. They have a range of dishes, and were able to explain what was nut and gluten free - the quality of the food and cocktails were excellent. I’d visited for my birthday with family, and they made us feel really welcome. I’d definitely recommend it for a special occasion or a regular meal, it had a great atmosphere.”
