“Excellent 2 night stay at Azteca Hotel & 1 day in Chessington! Had a standard Monkey Temple room looking over Amazu. Checked in online & staff were very welcoming to help issue keys on arrival, via key collection screen. Room was lovely & clean, great theaming. Window which opened a little, easy to use air conditioning which was essential when it was 28degs outside. Quiet and temp to 19degs which felt quite cold. Kettle, tea & coffee. Staff are more than happy to provide extra milk if you run out. Fridge under the desk was really handy. Not sure all rooms have this & was a nice surprise. TV had most usual freeview channels & TV in kids bedroom area too. Kids bunks also had a third pull out bed. WiFi was very good compared to other places we’ve stayed at. We ate at the Safari restaurant, lovely with views into the Wanyama area – spot the zebras, ostriches or giraffes! You can also walk around the area & there’s a small kids playground. Ensure you book the restaurant online in peak season. Buffet breakfast was a hot selection (eggs, sausages, beans) , cereals, pain choc, fruit & toast with a selection of jams. Staff were on hand and very helpful. Dinner was fine, it was mainly tea for the kids, bit slow to be served, but food was nice. Hotel guests have access to Chessington park queuing from 8.45am via Azteca gate just by the Temple restaurant. Staff let you in from 9am with ticket and bag checks. A selection of rides are open for guests between 9-10am. We preorderd a photo digipass and found it great for a whole day of ride pics. Activate it at the first photo booth you use, where they’ll issue you a QR for the rest of the day. Azteca Gate closes at 10am, so return to the hotel is via Lodge Entrance. In the evening Amazu play area is open at 6pm until 7 or 8pm. The park will always be very busy over the Summer, the staff were doing their very best to keep things moving and up and running asap if there were any technical problems. Download the app to view ride times and plan what rides are most important. Dragon Fury and Vampire were queuing before 10am. Have fun!”

“Really great themed hotel. Thought they hit the safari stay theme very well. We had a room with a view and saw animals as morning went on. The breakfast was good and the only part that was a shame was checking out at 10am as the animals were just coming to life after we had breakfast.”

“Stayed here from Monday and Tuesday, staying over the Monday night at the Safari Hotel. We really enjoyed the park, youngest was 1.1m oldest 1.2m so a few rides we had to separate for a few. Easier 1:1 child to adult ratio for under 7s I'd say. Hotel room was perfect and it was amazing staying next to the safari park. Buffet dinner and breakfast at the Azeteca Hotel was mayhem but really good quality. Perfect for the kids. Loved the 9am entry to the park although I'd flag not that many rides were open. Overall a great 2 days with a 4 and 6 year old.”

“Puddl ducks provide some of the best swimming lessons available for 0-5 years old. The lessons at Chessington are in the safari hotel pool. Lessons take place in an exclusive area of the pool and the depth is 1.2m throughout meaning there is plenty of space for the kids to move about whilst still being a comfortable experience even for non swimming parents. Recommended.”

“Excellent one night stopover for attending an event at Brooklands. Room was clean, comfy and quiet; bed huge with a great mattress; staff friendly and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. What's not to like? Highly recommended.”

“Can't rate this place highly enough and have recommended it to anyone I meet locally who wants to get into - or back into - exercising after having a baby. The classes are brilliant, full of friendly people and you can bring your baby to plenty of them too (lots to keep them entertained as well as super lovely instructors who are always willing to help while you work out). The coffee is brilliant and a great treat for afterwards, and the line up of food vans looks great too”

“Will not use anywhere else had my dog de bordeaux stay a few times now all the staff are excellent and can handle the large dog breed very well which sometimes can be a concern. Even treated him to there grooming service which is again exceptional 5 star.”

They are highly professional throughout the process, and every member of staff has a hands on knowledge of your current position within your sale/purchase. “I’ve slept in some places that I would happily like to forget, this place wasn’t one of them. Easy parking, fast check in, amazing smell walking down the halls, room clean with kettle and coffee, bed so comfortable, allowed dogs which is a bonus with doing dog shows, park for the kids, lovely walk for the dogs around the back of the building with poo bins, will definitely book this place again, all staff were lovely even at my 4am walk with the dog. Lots of food places to choose from right outside the hotel door, didn’t hear any traffic with window closed, room was lovely and cool, I’d give the place 10 stars if I could”
