“Have visited this location a few times, but not since the name change and new ownership; I was pleasantly surprised! Salad was fresh (you'd think it was a given, but had a lot of bad ones before), service was friendly and efficient. Overall a pretty good atmosphere in here. Shout out to the two servers, Leora and Harry, good job!”

“Wow, delicious Mediterranean breakfast, a feast for such a reasonable price! Everything was delicious, Simit bread was soft on the inside but crispy on the outside, goat cheese, honeys and jams, fruit, olives! Delicious sizzling sucuk and eggs in the middle. Very very impressed, delicious quality of everything served. Large coffees also served with breakfast. Staff were extremely helpful with dietary questions and very prompt. Can't wait to come back!”

“I had a fantastic breakfast here with family on the Easter bank holiday Monday. The café was fairly busy but service was prompt and the staff were friendly. The food was great - I had the "Hangover" breakfast - and there was just so much of it. I rarely visit Borehamwood but if I return I will be back for another breakfast.”

“A pleasant surprise and break from the mediocrity of the local restaurants. Expensive (although visited during eat out to help out scheme) but with great food, you should definitely check Balagan out. I ordered a schnitzel meal, which came accompanied by chips and salad. The schnitzel was crispy and tasty albeit a little on the small side, but the chips were incredible. Super soft and wonderfully unprocessed, these were by far the best chips I’ve had in a while. Salad was good as well, and the Oreo milkshake was decent for a Parve option. Shawarma was also great as well as falafel, and the pita that came with the meal was really great and authentic, you could definitely tell it had been grilled a little. Staff were quick to check up on us and ensure the meal was fine, and it was nice sitting outside. Great experience overall.”

“Was recommended by a friend to go to the Oestopath college in Borehamwood as I was suffering with arthritis and spondylitis in my shoulder which was now preventing me from playing golf. My first session included a very thorough assessment of my problems followed by an examination and then some treatment. The student who attended to me knew exactly what he was doing and after a follow up appointment I am now back playing golf. I had previously attended 4 sessions of physio at the hospital but to no avail. I am now having maintenance treatment to see me through the summer golf season.
