Both the hairdressers are bloomin’ great, and I had such a great chat with Steph yesterday who is absolutely lovely. They really take their time and on both occassions I’ve left with a really great haircut. Best barbers south of the river. Fact.”

“The vet I had was amazing with my cat and gave us lots and lots of advice about moving with him. Not only covering advice to make his trip easier but also things we can do beforehand and ways to put him into the carrier easier. My appointment was rescheduled to be earlier as the vet wasn't feeling well. But I didn't mind as the vet's love for her job and customer service skills shone through despite feeling unwell.”

“This vets — unlike many others in busy town settings — is easy to drive to just outside Romford and near Upminster. Set in quiet pretty countryside On the edge of a farm, there is plenty of easy free parking and a lovely relaxed clean-air atmosphere. I need this calmness when I take my anxious pet for attention! The staff are professional and caring . They seem to be up with the latest knowledge in what your pet needs and I am very happy that my cat Pixie now gets probably better attention than I do! “Shiny new hotel in a convenient but remarkably quiet location. While the ground floor is painfully hip in the evening, the rest of the building is very comfortable with excellent design. I was in a "snug" room which was perfectly adequate in size for a couple of nights, and indeed was bigger than some London hotel rooms I've been in. The bed was super comfortable and there were even a few interesting books in the room. Breakfast was excellent - freshly made and very tasty. Receiption staff were brilliant - friendly and efficient. Immediately stopping whatever they were doing to address the clients at the desk with a bg smile, something that many other hotels should learn from. I had a delicious cocktail in the rooftop restaurant, again with fantastic staff. Only request would be to remove or put the curtains to the side so we could enjoy the amazing view. Only off note was the ground-floor hostess looking around the almost empty restaurant/bar area at breakfast and telling me that guests are recommended to book tables for breakfast. There were at least sixty open covers, and I have never been told that by any of the many hotels in which I've stayed. I will definitely be returning as I really like this new entry to the London hotel scene.”

“Absolutely brilliant!! I took my bestie there for a bday surprise to get her ears pierced. Staff/owners were incredibly friendly, helpful, funny- we had a good laugh. Attention to detail when lining up the piercing ensuring all was accurate with very nice care and thoughtfulness. Professional yet super lovely and friendly. The studs were beautiful, all options. The money for the piercings also goes to charity too. Which is lovely. Couldn’t have wished for a better experience. Highly recommend! Thank you so much for a lovely afternoon.”

“We were visiting London and stayed at a hotel right next to this coffee shop. The name alone was enough to get a coffee but I'm glad we did because the latte was quite nice and good espresso.
