“Had a lunchtime hankering for Korean. I've passed this restaurant many times and thought that it was a sushi restaurant. Anyway the portions are huge easily satisfy two people per serving. Service was friendly and fast but dishes came out of sequence i.e. the main came first, followed by the starter and lastly the rice for the main arrived. The food was hot and the meat dishes were sizzling. The price was a little pricey but the experience was worth it. Looking forward to those Japanese fried oysters next visit.”

“Food is delicious and service is good. Food portion is also big, we ordered mix grill for 2 and it was enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. Prices are ok taking into account that food portion is big.”

“I have been coming here since 1981 when I was 10 years old. My father took us and his clients here when Valecci opened and me, the same, 25 years later. It was my eldest son’s 21st last night and this is where he wanted to come. 3 generations later and still the same classy experience; The food is exceptional, Enzo and his staff are the best in the business and nothing is too much trouble. If cost is your priority, this is not your kind of restaurant. If first class food served by exceptionally attentive yet subtle waiters in intimate and personal surroundings is what’s required, come here as you’ll never be disappointed.”

“Amazing food in a great location, such amazing quality seafood, oysters and scallop were a highlight. The skewers were also great, we ordered chicken heart and pork cheek - incredible. Got a complimentary fried lotus snack! We ordered most of the menu and it was all super well priced! Great service and ambience. Would strongly recommend.”

“Our meal was 2 hours of sheer food escapism. From the minute we arrived we were welcomed and felt it.the entire team were incredibly attentive and welcoming, but not overbearing. The food was exceptional, exciting and innovative and for the first time in a longtime my wife and I just basked in the amazing food and ambience. The whole setup was so wonderful the time flew by. The cocktails were incredible too. We were never without anything and we left feeling like we had gotten a bargain. Also Monica walked through the restaurant and said hello after I waved like a dork. “Lovely cafe and play area for babies to pre-schoolers. Clean and maintained well. Play area is divided in to 8 pretend play rooms with lots of pretend play toys and ride-on toys. There's also a small section for young babies who aren't crawling. Cafe has hot drinks, toastie and warm sandwiches, the open plan design of the space makes it easy for the parent to sit at the cafe and enjoy a cuppa whilst their tot plays.”

“Stayed over night while visiting friends in the area. Lovely clean, large room. It is an old build so there are a lot of stairs and no tea making facilities in the room but guest are welcome to use the large kitchen to make drinks. There is a generous continental breakfast and the host is welcoming and chatty without being intrusive or overbearing. It is about 1 minute from the station.”
