Water Lane Coffee
“Excellent coffee and very kind and knowledgeable owner! Will definitely come again!”
VATINI ART CAFÈ
“Went with a friend who came down for the weekend. Had a lovely experience - the place is beautifully decorated with a very chilled atmosphere. We chose our bits to paint and weren't rushed or given any timings so we could just paint and chat. Really nice little place, not overly expensive. We had a great time and will definitely be going again.”
Broadway Cafe
“We had a large breakfast and added a few bits. Was a nice cafe breakfast. The lady serving us was really nice too”
The Surbitonian Grind
“The best independent coffee shop you’ll find in south west london. Decor, coffee, food and service are all on point. Opened up during the pandemic and has thrived because it’s just fabulous.”

“We ordered our wedding cake and it was delicious!!!! Everyone enjoyed it. Good price and service! Simona was really nice. I totally recommend!”
Press Cafe
“I love the people who work here. They are happy, talkative and ready to help in any way they can. I also really like the fact that this is a small business, not a chain. I feel like I am supporting the little guy when I give my money to them.”
Romeo & Juliet's
“Romeo and Juliet's is an absolute gem of a dog cafe! The staff are always very friendly and make you and your dogs feel very welcome. When planning a reunion with my dog's littermates for his first birthday I hired the cafe and they set up the most beautiful afternoon tea for dogs and humans. The food is fantastic too which is an added bonus. Great place to hang out with your doggies, or even if you don't have a dog as there's sure to be one there to cuddle!”
Estate Office Coffee
“Fantastic coffee and a fabulous selection of freshly baked cakes every day. The staff are also super friendly!”
Crushed Bean
“Genuinely lovely coffee shop. Staff are great, food is unusual but yummy, coffee is delicious. And they LOVE dogs. Cosy basement if upstairs is full. Brilliant addition to Croydon café culturez”
Atdheu Caffe
“As at 15Apr21. Great outdoor/indoor area at the back with open roof. Therefore, allowed to smoke. Covid secure. Nice coffee and snacks. Proper barista style coffees. Popular. Friendly, polite, professional staff. Popular with Albanian clientele but nice Albanians, not mafia or drug dealers! Lol. Yes, most Albanians are nice people too. Albanian music playing in background and Albanian football on the several wide-screen, flat, wall-mounted TVs. Would be a fun place to watch a big game. Small, cosy place. Had a revamp not long back. 2 toilets, gents and ladies. Outdoor, front street seating too.”
Hilly Cafe
“Super friendly and welcoming cafe with good quality food! Must recommend the Shawarma wrap!!”
1 to 3 Coffee
“I love this place, the owner is lovely, understand my needs. The coffee taste is better than anywhere else in this area. 100% Recommend”
Carraro Coffee - PureCaffe
“I have tried every coffee shop in Brixton. This and the other I’ve reviewed *ahem Caya ahem* are by far the best. Amazing coffee, nice place to chill or work, great service. Definitely get your coffee here before you head to the more popular areas in Brixton.”

BLACK EYE COFFEE
“A great little coffee place with food and a small Covered garden. They’re friendly for dogs as well. The coffee is delicious. We ordered flat white with hot milk and almond milk. In addition, we ate the Florentine eggs with spinach, and added some side dishes You can create your own breakfast as well.”
Blend 93
“Went for brunch with family not knowing what to expect. Once food arrived on the table we were pleasantly surprised with the way they have presented the food, every item and ingredients was thoughtfully added. Food was tasty and we all loved it, customer service is 10/10. They go beyond to take care of customers need. I liked the atmosphere. No wonder why this place is thriving and I have already visited 2nd time with my friend. This will be my favourite go to place for breakfast or brunch for sure.”
Bones Espresso
“This is the best speciality coffee shop in Twickenham! Single origin espresso and flat white, great selection of coffees. Super chill atmosphere and very friendly staff, excellent guys, keep it up! Thanks!”
Nama Café and Cake House
“Upper Norwood (aka Crystal Palace) has been hip for some time, but it needed a 100% vegan cafe to go with the antique shops, excellent pubs and vinyl outlets. Nama is that place. I recommend their homemade Biscoff cheesecake”
The Woodman Pinner
“Went for a Christmas Lunch today. There was 19 of us, we had pre booked and everything from booking to food/drink/service today was 5 *. The staff were great and really adaptable to the needs of our group. Thank you so much for making our group Christmas lunch a success”
The Mitre
“A fine traditional pub with an excellent range of real ales and cider. Cosy atmosphere, proper fire and friendly dog. Landlord happy to discuss beer choices, aiming for a range of beer styles and from outside London. Worth seeking out - it's hard to find and has limited opening hours.”
The Radius Arms - Micropub Free House
“Always a warm welcome from Vincent and excellent beers. A great place to be with friends.”
The Prince of Greenwich Pub
“Bf told me this is his favourite pub in England. Finally had a chance to visit this place with him and I must say, it's pretty good. Welcoming owner who immediately warm-heartedly greets you with "welcome home" (on the way out of the pub, I notice the sign at the entrance that also reads "welcome home"). Nice atmosphere and great lighting. The eclectic decor is a feast for your eyes. Staff got one of our orders wrong but that's ok, we all make mistakes sometimes. Didn't have to wait long for our actual main to arrive. Hope to visit this place again when they have the live band playing.”
PJ O'Connors Irish Sports Bar
“Good staff music top class governor very good man”
The Stag & Lantern Micropub
“Warm and cozy. Full of locals enjoying their day. Menu changes periodically so try what you want or grab a bottle from the fridge.”
Growler Stop Tap Room Dartford
“Went to the Growler stop for first time last night. Great, helpful and pleasant staff. Lovely welcoming atmosphere. Very extensive beer menu that the staff will help you with. We sampled quite a few across the range, pale ales, ipa’s, bitters and stouts and they were all lovely. We will be returning and next time our wives said they’ll come with us and sample their gins :-)”
Little Oak Coffee
“Absolutely fantastic coffee, always great service with a smile and some superb local art on the wall to enjoy to boot. I only get to pop in on Saturdays as I work in the area but if I could convince Mrs from Saturday to move to Gospel Oak then I would, just so I could come here more often. Really cannot recommend the place highly enough. Wonderful wonderful wonderful.”
