We loved everything. Cinzia, the manager was super friendly and accommodating as well as the rest of the staff. We will back for more occasions.”

“Fabulous diner last night. Beautifully decorated restaurant, very clean, nice atmosphere. Very friendly and attentive staff, perfect service. (From arrival to getting our starters served was only 15 min) Menue was varied, with meat and plant based options. Food was outstanding, very tasty and beautifully presented. “Wonderful brunch with friends here on Sunday. They have plenty of seating, some fantastic breakfast/brunch options and really speedy and friendly service. Coffee was also good so we were very impressed with our visit and will definitely return to check out the champagne brunch deal (any breakfast dish, glass of champagne and juice or coffee for £17.95) Tip- if you’re driving into town then it’s best to park at the Castle Street or Sydenham Road car park and wander down to the restaurant.”

“Our server was a nice gentleman, unfortunately did not get his name. Went with family, for a reunion of sorts. Visiting from Canada, so I've never been here. Ordered the set menu. Tomato soup (it was alright, a tomato basil or a tomato bisque would have been better), the imam's bayild (the topping was amazing, not the biggest egg plant fan), and the cheese for dessert (chutney on the sweet side). Would certainly come back and try something new. Coffee a little on the tart/sour side.”

“Love the new cocktail menu! Really great food and service here in the centre of Guildford. We had the sharing platter starter, pork dumplings, King Prawn Pad Thai, Eton Mess, Duck Curry with Jasmine rice. I will most certainly be going back!”

“Me and my partner stayed for 1 night. We had a free room upgrade on arrival and the restaurant food was tasty but it was a little bit expensive. Breakfast was self-serve and very good quality. Beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. Thank you for a pleasant stay.”

“The only reason the room did not get five stars was a few little things that were evident but did not affect my stay. The ceiling above the air con showed black mould? And the clip on the toilet seat was missing but the seat worked just cosmetic. The room was big and there was a good quantity of coat hangers I did ask for more drinks and milk, staff was efficient. And pleasant and very helpful. Parking at night can be a bit tricky I came back late and all the spaces were full. I managed to squeeze in. Even though it was full the hotel was quiet.”

“Food is always delicious and arrives as hot as if I made it at home. The sides are some of the best I’ve had from a takeaway. Highly recommend the chicken wings and the garlic dough balls. Also, use their website and not just eat. It’s a little cheaper as just eat add their own taxes etc. their website also have loyalty points and different deals available.”

“Every time I come to Guildford I go here! The food is always perfect and although I would t say it’s that authentic it still is so tasty! For hot food on the go or for a quick lunch this is the place to go. I recommend going for the chicken fried rice hot. Good selection on the menu to choose from and there is something for everyone who likes Asian eating.”

“We had someone come and help us out as I am 8 months pregnant and have a toddler so was finding it difficult to find the time and energy. Marie (who took the booking) was really helpful and lovely and the woman who came was incredibly thorough, and also just lovely. She was very mindful of smells and product near me so warned me when she was cleaning near me and was just generally fantastic all round. Highly recommend.”

“This is probably the best Japanese (and Korean) food in Guildford. We like it so much that we went twice a week apart. Staff are very hospitable, not too long to wait for food, food tastes delicious and fresh. We'll probably go again soon. Best to book ahead as both times the place was very packed.”

“My friends and I, visited to do Axe throwing. Immediately as we walked in we were welcomed by very attentive and friendly staff. The atmosphere is great, the venue is big with a good sized garden. Axe throwing was brilliant fun and the food was tasty and good portions. Great value for money. 10/10”

“Well furnished, comfortable rooms which are very quiet and you don't need to be a plumber to work the shower ! Lots of choice for breakfast which was plentiful, well cooked and presented. We will definitely stay again.”

“We have tried it for the first time and everything is perfect, punctual and delicious food, we tried the menu for two and everything was quite good, what we liked the most was the sweet and sour pork and least of all the rolls, we will repeat for sure, I wish they could do the payment with online card and not with cash.”

“The hotel is an amazing large old building with lots of nooks and crannies. Great garden. Looks a good venue to have a wedding. Food is good in the restaurant and service is good but can be a bit slow. This is tucked away from the main road.”
