Bill's Richmond Restaurant
“We went as a big family group on New Year’s Eve and had such a great time, we thought we’d go back just the two of us today. Antonio looked after us so well. Lovely window table overlooking the river. The food was divine. We’ll be going back real soon.”
The Prince's Head, Richmond
“Great spot but also increasingly more of American tourists versus local pub. Don’t show up with 17 people and expect a seat—don’t be that guy. Amazing staff, great pints, incredibly clean and well stocked ladies toilets. Can’t wait to go back!”
The Richmond
“This bar is a favourite of my wife we normally have a few drinks here on a Sunday if we are going for a buffet at a local Indian restaurant, the staff are very friendly and very welcoming, helpful, on a sunny day its nice to sit outside the regulars are also very friendly.the only down side about sitting out side are the beggar's asking for money or and cigarettes. But we'll worth a visit”
Antipodea Richmond
“Nice ambience and deco. Wonderful service, prompt and courteous. Food was amazing and coffee was smashing!”
Moreish Bites
“Amazing food. We tried scallops, lamb shank and a rack of lamb special. All delicious, cooked to perfection and very generous portions. There is currently a Groupon offer which makes it all a steal, but I would happily pay full price.”
Grilandia East Sheen
“Really wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff. We ordered the set menu B which was really good value for the amount of food and quality of it too. It was super quick to come out too which was great. We will definitely be back!”
The Garden Fish Bar
“Freshly fried fish and chips. We ordered two small pieces of small Cod fillets and had to wait 10 minutes for them to fry it. We arrived there a few minutes after opening of the shop. We were soo surprised when the order came because the “small” piece of fish was easily 30 centimeters long! The fish was thick and tasty!”
Pier1 Fish and Grill
“It was the only non-salty fish and chips I had in London. You'll know at first bite that it's a fried fish cooked with very fresh fish. And it was very reasonable prices! I strongly recommend it!”
The Dragon Inn
“It's nice to go to a restaurant where they fill up your water glass when you're close to finishing and place your serviette on your lap. The Dragon Inn is on the prices side compared to other Chinese restaurants but you get what you pay for and the food is absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend and to book for popular evenings (Friday night etc) we ordered so many delicious starters we didn't get to a main course. Will try again next time.”
Bean Bar
“Friendly service, brilliant food. They accommodate your requests. Really enjoyed fresh, nicely prepared food. Definitely coming back.”
La Parmigiana
“Best takeaway pizza in the area. Nice thin, hand cooked bases and generous toppings. I live in Mortlake and delivery takes about 25min. Pic is of the only slice I had leftover!”
Whelan's Kingston
“This is a lovely pub with a friendly and helpful landlord! It's near both bus and train station, in Kingston! Had a great pint of Irish real ale! We also had a really good meal, a mixed grill, which was also a good price and filled us up, we will b going back!!”
East Putney Tavern
“What a fantastic little pub. A short walk from East Putney tube station, it's a sprawling pub over 3 levels with a beer garden out the back. The staff were wonderful: very friendly, cheerful and helpful and happy to chat. The pub was very clean and tidy with lots of seating Including some very comfortable looking sofas. And if you're interested, they show the six nations rugby. I know I don't mention food very much, but the beef brisket nuggets with caper mayo was absolutely brilliant. The Guinness was excellent as was the Wimbledon Brewery's Copper Leaf. I usually take pics of the ales/bitters on offer to indicate their availability, but I forgot to do that have - they sell ales/bitters.”
The Britannia
“Remember when this was a proper pub but it’s now a lovely gastro pub restaurant. Great menu, great food and really friendly warm service. They even asked if we theatre goers and as we were got our food ordered and served quickly which is great attention to detail.”
The Angel & Crown
“We’ve lived in Richmond a long time and seen this pub under many different types of management. It has finally made it back into our must stop for a pint list. I’m a pub manager by trade so am enormously fussy about how clean the beer lines are, this pub is spot on. The staff only make it better. Thank you Jake for an enjoyable afternoon! Good products, great service, clean lines. What more could you want! I will definitely be coming back.”
The Fat Badger
“Highly recommend! We booked lunch for my mum's 60th birthday recently, the staff were so attentive & even played along with a surprise we had planned (one of my brothers has been living in Mexico and came home for the birthday, the FB team dressed him in staff uniform & had him serve our drinks - I'm not sure if she's forgiven us.) The food, house wine & cocktails were all delicious! Our photos don't do it justice, but there were clean plates all round. Big thank you to TFB team!”
Hudsons
“Found this place on one of delivery company's website and didn't regret it! The burger was really really nice and very filling (two meat patties) and the Sticky Korean Fried Chicken was pretty good too even though I am not a big fan of peas in rice (it tasted much better than it looks). Will definitely try again!”
The Spencer
“Friendly staff, great drinks, lovely summery vibe to feel like you're sitting on the green! Always super busy which is great!”
Orange Tree Pub
“Excellent pub in Richmond , Nicole is wonderful and her team are great. One of the best pubs in London”
The Greyhound Kew
“A wonderful find for lunch. We had the most delicious rib eye steak. Cooked to perfection. It’s the best steak that we have tasted in a long time. Definitely worth a visit.”
Mooca Café
“Nice cafe with delicious paninis. The food is prepared fresh so you may need to wait if there is a big order before you.”
The Rising Sun
“Great Pub! came in on Friday evening, great atmosphere, nice music, not too loud, my girlfriend had a Sourdough Pizza which was awesome! I had the Jerk Salmon dish was delicious. Great selection of beers too!! Staff were really chatty and fun and helpful. Good Stuff!!”
The Cricketers
“This pub has a fantastic location on Richmond green. I've been going in here for 30 years. Currently, it's providing a very good service. Great choice of drinks. The staff are great. Well worth a visit.”
The Cricketers - Kew Green
“The bar sandwich menu is really good and reasonably priced. The fish goujon sandwich is delicious. Soft fresh bread and packet salad but tender and fresh, with a good dressing. Highly recommended for lunch .. don't know about dinner.”
Fox & Hounds
“A proper pub. Prices would be alright anywhere in Britain, so for Zone 2 they are phenomenonal. Great company in here and friendly staff... if I lived round here it'd be my local for sure.”
Coach & Horses
“If I could stay here forever, I would. This place is so cute, and the customer service is excellent. Everything is clean and updated, the bed is comfy & they offer complimentary coffee, tea & homemade biscuits in our room. The mini fridge is STOCKED & while some items require payment, they are not too expensive (ex: Popcorn is less than I'd pay for it at Tesco or similar.) Breakfast in bed is £17.50 even for a Full Monty. It was delicious. We had an excellent dinner upon arrival. My fiance had the trout with Broccolini & and potatoes. I had the dry aged steak with thick fries & a side of broccolini as well. Everything was cooked perfectly, we had two drinks & paid £61 which I thought was a great deal, especially given the large portions. The bathroom has full-size hand soap, body lotion, bubble bath, shampoo, and conditioner, and they actually smell good & FEEL good. The bath tub is actually large enough for me to submerge my entire body (I'm 5'10") instead of either my upper body or my lower body. It was so nice to get warm after traveling in the cold weather (it was ~3⁰C/37⁰F upon arrival). The location is great, right across from a big pretty church and small grassy parks. It's also right near Kew Gardens for anyone looking to do a bit of tourism (like me). Overall, this little place makes big efforts to make you feel at home for an affordable price. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely stay here again when we return to England.”
