“Went for mother's day steak with in-laws. We were last guests to arrive that night. Excellent rib eye with good sides. And very good desserts. I must also commend the service which was very good and accomodating despite us arriving 45 mins before close of kitchen. I might just come again. Thanks!”

“Very lucky to have this cafe on our doorstep. Kate (the owner) and her team are always welcoming and make a special fuss of our dog Luna even if we just walk by. Great selection of cakes all lovingly made by Kate and a great selection of food for breakfast & lunch. Kate also runs a Supper Club on a Thursday evening where she creates a varied 3 course meal each week. We have been on several occasions & have been delighted with the dishes and wine. Highly recommend for brunch, lunch, amazing cakes or a treat at the Supper Club. Not forgetting the cakes made to order for any celebration. Ordered several for various family celebrations. All delicious & loved by all our guests!”

“Absolutely fantastic food and even better hospitality. As soon as we entered we felt welcome. We had a jug of passion fruit juice which was nice, if a bit sweet. For starters we had the nundu and the mogo. The mogo had a nice flavour and was a good consistency. The nundu was absolutely fantastic and I really recommend it. Traditionally it's just beef fat, however, as the server explained, you can't serve grilled fat on its own in the UK, so it had beef with it. It was so full of flavour and seasoned perfectly. For mains we had sukama wiki with ugali and charsi lamb curry with naan. The sukama had a lovely flavour and went well with the ugali. I tried the curry with the ugali and it didn't go as well. The curry was spicy but really rich. We had some karak chai to finish the meal and packed up everything we didn't eat. Our server was great - very friendly and knowledgeable - and I got the feel from the restaurant that they love serving people and making people happy with their food.”

“I recently visited this amazing vegetarian restaurant and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming, and the menu had a great variety of dishes to choose from. I started with their hot & sour soup which was bursting with flavor and had just the right amount of spice. For my entree, I ordered the vegetable stir fry and it was cooked to perfection - the veggies were crisp and the sauce was delicious. What stood out to me was the freshness of the ingredients and the attention to detail in every dish. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the overall dining experience exceptional. If you're looking for a healthy and flavorful vegetarian meal, I highly recommend this restaurant. I'll definitely be back!"”
