“Tried this Chinese after our regular was closed for the night. I think this will now become our regular Chinese. The food had loads of flavour, not greasy. Packaged nicely with clear lids to see the food, the sauce pots were in a tray so no risk of leaking in the delivery bag. The food was also nice and hot, and the chips were good and not rock hard like most are from chinese takeaways.”

“I have ordered many times from there since October 2019, at least 10 times. Great chicken tikka balti, bhuna, naga and vindaloo, keema biryani and all the starters I've tried. Excellent takeaway with great consistency and always delivery on time or earlier. Looking at the previous reviews all I can say is give it another chance because definitely this takeaway is not at all what you have described.”

“What a perfect authentic Italian! Food was delicious, the portion size was very generous and the service was impeccable. Newly established business which by far is best Italian (my opinion) in brentwood I could not recommend enough The owner Walter was very welcoming and nice I'm looking forward to my next visit.”

Excellent food and service, extremely good wine and the chef/owner an absolute gentlemen with a great sense of humour. I live in France and have to say, one of the finest meals I have had anywhere.”

“Lovely pub restaurant. Cosy bar at the front with fires to make it extra cosy. We went to the rear dining room with views of the garden, and it was delightful the watching the birds, the squirrels and the fallow deer visiting the garden. Nice choice of traditional British favourites. I had beef and Guinness pudding which was tasty and also light, perfect. Very friendly and helpful staff.”

“I booked an afternoon tea for nine of us for two friends’ birthdays. I cannot express how helpful the staff were in arranging the booking and arranging for dietary requirements and on the day how friendly and helpful they all were. The afternoon tea was so lovely and the atmosphere at Marygreen Manor was warm and so Christmassy. Would definitely recommend coming here for any special occasion.
