“Date night with my husband and was very surprised. Never had a cinema experience like it. Had drinks before we went in and ordered food. Staff delivered it to my lovely sofa. Loved the burger. Meat was obviously high quality. Also loved sharing the cookies with some ice cream....a must. Staff all cared that you enjoyed your experience and sets them above the completion on front. “Lovely and cozy Guest House. (We got a room with shared bathroom) Pros: - It was very comfortable - Close to sandown race course - all facilities there (there is a sink inside room, a kettle for tea and coffee making, ironing board with a iron, lots of space to keep all your stuff, towel, soap etc.) - there is a kitchen downstairs open always - AWESOME breakfast - Owner was nice too Cons: - The height of everything was short, the rooms, the shower, the sink in the room etc. Difficult for anyone.”

“I've just had a very pleasant lunch at winterdown coffee shop. What lovely people . Had a nice toastie and a tea. There is somewhere to sit in the shade,they've worked hard to make the area appealing with vegetable and flower boxes and they've even cleaned the toilet up. Thank you, I will be back. Sarah”

“Went there the other night for some drinks and ended up having fish & chips a few hours later and my partner had a mixed grill. Fish was cooked to perfection and chips were top notch. Great portion size too. All the meat on the mixed grill was spot on. Both really happy and exceeded expectations. Asked for the chefs name and it was Henry I believe. Well done to him and the rest of the team. Will come again 100%”

“We visited today, we asked for a table out of the way as we’ve two large dogs who love to take up space. Anna was very accommodating and gave us a great table, she’s a very friendly host. Suki served us and was very friendly and helpful, all the staff were lovely. The pub is very dog friendly, the have beds, a water station and treats for them. The food was lovely. Will definitely come back again - thank you team!”
