Everything on the plate was delicious. Prices were very reasonable. Very clean, great ambiance and friendly staff. Will definitely be back.”

“Sorry but wasn't at Majestic Wine, merely nearby, so can't help on this occasion. I have, however, used this branch of Majestic quite a few times, when living in nearby Whyteleafe. They always carried a great variety of wines, at varying prices, and were always pleased to advise on choice per your budget. They never let me down on this front. Thanks.”

“Edit 11 April: just ordered from Tuk Tuk for the third time and omg whomever was cooking tonight, kudos to them! Absolutely incredible and took me right back to Thailand! Loved the Tom yum rice and the chilli and basil pork stir fry with coconut rice!!! Holy WOW!!! 5 star and the best Thai takeaway in the area! Ordered drunken noodles, pad Thai and tom yum fried rice from here and I have to say, whilst it’s one of the best Thai’s in the area (Purley is seriously lacking), it could still be better. The pad Thai was lovely with lovely large prawns but the sauce tasted like it was from a jar rather than authentic tamarind. The drunken noodles were smokey and didn’t taste like authentic pad kee mow, but the Tom yum fried rice, in spite of not being fully authentic, was amazing! Really good flavours and good sized prawns. Overall, it tastes like someone not Thai, making Thai food. Apologies if this is incorrect, but just the way it came across in the cooking. Yes, I would definitely order from Tuk Tuk again as it was mega tasty, but it’s personally not authentic enough to satisfy my Thai craving.”

“Really good experience. The Q Cafe is clean and the Full English Breakfast was an all-day option which I opted for. The food was cooked well and you can tell the ingredients used were high quality. Very reasonably priced which would explain its popularity. Staff attentive, polite and ensured the cafe stayed clean. Well worth a visit.”

“I found the food here most enjoyable, much better than the sort of curries you can get in places where good flavour and texture are replaced by salt, sugar and hot spice all put into something more like a porridge. Also great in this small restaurant was that one of the main guys there was very pleasant and easy to talk to. Under new management and ownership, with now a great atmosphere in a wonderful location, a short distance from East Croydon Station, with lovely welcoming staff, a brilliant catering team preparing amazing Afro-Caribbean Food.
