● Open“The gentleman with the salt and pepper hair and the young super tall guy are the best, every time we come in they go above and beyond to help us out and are always super polite and friendly. The last time we came in we mentioned we were tired before we got to the till and the guy over heard us and without saying a word, came round the counter, picked up the overfull basket, carried to the till and packed all our shopping for us (we're in our 20's and fully capable). Such a nice guy and it's really unexpected to get such great service from a chain like this, they both deserve a shout out”

The decor appears to be untouched since around 1970 and not the most attractive looking take away but food was good which I guess which matters the most in the modern days of online ordering where not many actually sees the place except for the reviews online. Will be back with further review next time after perhaps a bigger order.”

I recently returned some avocados to Abdulatif. I didn't have my receipt and the packaging had been thrown away by my husband that morning, but he remembered seeing me and knows my family well and trusted that I wouldn't lie to him. I didn't want to be trouble but one very polite member of staff offered to get it for me. He got out of his way to move all the crates just to give me a few lemons. I didn't check his name but he deserves a medal for going there extra mile. Made my day!”

I come here quite often, and I like it. It's a good shop. I notice many of the 1-star reviews are from people who have not reviewed many other places. Whereas all the local guides who have written many proper reviews give 4 and 5 stars.”
