Moloney's London
“Ended up here by mistake after the women's football. Fantastic pub. Lovely staff and locals. 3.30 for a pint of Guinness. Will be back”
Queens Arms London
“The food and beer were good. They had both British and Balkan food, very interesting menu. The workers were very friendly and the service was quick. My favourite pub in London.”
Off The Cuff - Live Music
“Very nice club and pub and bar. Cordial staff and good crowd. Closing at 3am and mostly having concert in the weekends.”
The London Tavern
“Went in to watch a Liverpool game, met Tim (fellow LFC) and Levy, good local lads. Cheap beer for London and a sound pub, will be going next time I'm down too.”
The Moretown Belle London
“Great food, service and value near the Tower of London. As an F1 fan I’ve been to a number of the races. And as a foodie, I’ve eaten in all sorts of places, from chip shops to Michelin star. So, F1 on a massive screen with surround sound and a massive Sunday roast, what better combination? Just around the corner from the Tower of London, it’s a wonderful and history filled walk to The Moretown Belle. Unlike other pubs, you’re greeted at the door by a host, with a warm smile as soon as you arrive. There’s plenty of seating , from booths, high tables and singles to groups. I went with my sister and we both decided to have the chicken for our roast. What surprised me was the variety and amount of vegetables. Fantastic - peas, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower and carrots. I’m pretty sure we had a whole chicken between us. The plate was topped off with roast potatoes and an enormous Yorkshire pudding. We were true heroes and managed to eat a lot of it , but had to admit defeat. You definitely will not leave this place hungry after that roast. Service was slick and professional. I like the smart uniforms and how nothing was too much trouble. More gravy? A proper gravy boat arrived promptly. More drinks? Table service in a blink of an eye. For a part of London you’d expect to be a tourist trap, this is not. Locals, regulars, sports fans who find it online and book with their mates, families, and now me! It’s lovely to find an independent non - chain pub that really cares about just being brilliant. We will be back!”
City Cruises London Westminster Pier
“Evening Jazz Cruise. What a brilliant evening out. Includes a three course dinner and a welcoming glass of fizz. Comfortable and very clean boat, excellent food. Very efficient, friendly staff, and the jazz quartet were excellent. All the night-time sights as you glide from Westminster to Greenwich and back. Heartily recommended.”
Eagle London
“Amazing venue, great events. HMD is the best, best security in any place I've ever been to, Jeff is what all security staff should be like and Roy on the door is always an absolute pleasure..all the bar staff are friendly... love this place”
Nice Caribbean London
“We went to wow sushi downstairs which is amazing. The sushi is the best sushi I have ever had. You won't be disappointed.”
Plaistow Cafe London
“Lovely family friendly cafe, very affordable and tastey food”
Fulham Tavern - Restaurant, Bar, Pub in Fulham
“Sara & Douglas have created a beautiful restaurant atmosphere at Locale. They were amazing with allergies and when I learnt the reason why I was even more touched. From the bar staff, waiters and chef they are so polite. I really enjoyed my meal there. A go to place to dine in Fulham and always thinks of the local community. I was very honoured when Sara kindly offered her venue to us for free to host a social and networking night for business and local residents for the benefit for the community.”
The Beaten Docket London
“Ate twice here, while visiting. A nice and quick breakfast, and then some fish and chips for dinner with a pint later. Both meals were tasty, quickly served and great value for money. Staff was very friendly. More locals than tourists here and I (as a tourist) enjoyed the experience.”
London Hospital Tavern
“Lovely vibe since the management changed. The team seem like a family which makes the environment feel so welcoming. Good prices and a cracking pub quiz!”
The Rose & Crown, London Bridge (PUBLOVE)
“Experience great, trying a burger, sure it will be fine. Very busy with lots of happy people. A great place. I am a bit confused as the boss says it's a backpacker hostel. Ok but £164 a night, guess I am out of touch. No criticism (in any bad way) but did not realize it was that costly for people to get a room for the night. All done, this is an excellent place, great fun and friendly. Take a bow!!!”
London Apollo Club
“1st Saturday of each month. It's been going on for the last,40 years. Amazing night. Strictly old school. 11pm till 6am.”
Marina Cafe London
“Friendly lady at desk. Beautiful breakfast. Really nice coffee. Great service.”
Players London
“Lovely bar with lovely staff, good place to watch the rugby too. I have been to a few birthday parties held here and they have been brilliant.”
Moxy London Heathrow Airport
“Just came here for a cuppa hot chocolate with my partner. Place is fantastic to chill or even for a quick date. So chill and relaxing. The only disadvantage of it is that a chocolate is £4 and if you want a flavour, it's an additional £2. For a small cup of hot chocolate £6 is too much compared to other big brand coffee stores, but the taste of chocolate was nice.”
The Real Greek - Westfield London
“Really love this place, and the staff are so welcoming and attentive. The food was really nice, I especially loved the spicy feta dip (pictured) and the pork belly souvlaki wrap, really tasty!! The service is also quick which is great, also is good value for money!”
SALSA BALHAM @ THE BEDFORD - Every MONDAY night
“Excellent classes for all levels Very nice instructors Good music and dancers Lots of fun”
Theatre in the woods
“What a lovely setting for an opera house. In the theatre itself, the seats are comfortable and have great sightlines in the stalls. There's a large orchestra pit and a large stage too. The theatre is a work in progress, and there are still facilities to build. But don't let that put you off! There's enough there for your visit to be comfortable and worthwhile. I saw Gods of the Game today and it was top notch and as good as any opera I've seen in the West End. It's a bit off the beaten track, so you'll need a car to get there unfortunately, but there's plenty of parking and it's not a long drive from South or West London.”
AfroBeats In The City
“I went there alone and had the time of my life. This is the first party I've gone to where they actually play what they say 100% afrobeats. 10/10”
neatly london lounge – micro bar
“What a wonderful, intimate and quirky little lounge bar nestling in the foothills of crystal palace. The cocktails and gins are fabulous and unique with Studer an award winning Swiss brewery, providing the centre piece to many of the mixes -and all presented in a warm and friendly atmosphere and welcome provided by the family owners and headed by Dan and Norma, definitely worth a stroll down Anerley Hill......”
The Stokey Records Bar London
“Stokey Records Bar is in the basement under Trattoria Da Luigi. You enter through the restaurant and head down the stairs at the back.”
