“It had been a very long time since I’d been here as my first visit hadn’t been inspiring. What a change! Fantastic staff welcoming and despite being rushed off their feet, attentive, professional and always smiling. Service was great and the food fresh and exciting and very tasty. Definitely worth a repeat visit!!”

“Had a fantastic evening there. Staff were excellent and the food was lipsmackingly good. Tried the allo chaat, gol guppa and the samosa chaat for starters and loved the samosa chaat the most. The lamb chops were recommended to me by Sunny but I went for the Shank. Such a mistake!!!.... Not because the shank wasn't good but tried some of the lamb chops from my friend and it is to die for. Daal Bukhara was also fantastic. But the Paan ice-cream was mind blowing. Grew up eating both , Paan and ice cream , but never tasted Paan ice-cream. Fantastic”

“Great little Turkish discovery in the area. Run and managed by the owners, this restaurant offers up a range of culinary Turkish treats cooked perfectly. Service is excellent and highly commended. Parking is a little challenging in the area but it is well worth the trouble. Highly recommend if you're in the area.”

“I went for some food while waiting for someone to be seen at the hospital. The staff stayed open later than normal for me to eat in. I had the chicken escallop and bacon sandwich and it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had! Amazing place.”

“This Kebab House is The BEST!! Seriously, this guy makes everything himself: the meat, the sauces, everything and he makes it so well! It is delicious! I could not eat a Doner Kebab until I tried one here. It is made with simple ingredients-lamb, salt & pepper and maybe some spices. Try this place out. And tell Arrol that Vas sent you!”

“A really lovely family run restaurant. The food is one of the best Turkish food we have had in London. The portion sizes are generous and all taste absolutely incredible. We spent time speaking with the owners, and they have been there 34years and you can tell they are still as passionate now as they were when they first opened. As locals we have been a few times and will absolutely be returning. So many more tasty things to try one then menus. 5*/5* for sure.”

“Outstanding service, friendly, helpful and welcoming in just the right way. Happy to explain the Georgian dishes if you want, but delighted if you already know your stuff. Wine very reasonably priced - and of course those delightfully distinct Georgian grape varieties- fruity and plummy and raisiny and delicious. The food was exactly what you hope for from Georgian dishes - subtle, flavourful, tangy, sweet, warm, rich, fragrant and funky. And always a hint of something you can’t quite put your finger on - but you want more of it! Outstanding choices for vegetarians, of course - aubergine, sheep’s cheese, cheesy breads in all varieties. The qatmis kuchmachi - unfortunately described as chicken giblets - but mainly comprising chicken liver - is amazing. There is also a downstairs section offering a more homely vibe to the upstairs dining room. I hear from the (delightful) owner that candles and pictures are on the way to homely up the place. These will only add to the atmosphere. We will be back. Edit: I did come back! And it was just as good the second time :-)”

“The food and service were absolutely amazing! The waiter talked us through the whole menu as we were not very familiar with South African cuisine. Depending on your seating you can watch the cooks prepare the dishes which makes the experience really authentic. I’m definitely going to dine at Kuzu again. Greetings from Germany!”

“This is one of my favorite lunch place. Food is scrumptious! Wheelchair users: there is a little step at the entrance. May need a little push to get in. But should be OK to get out independently. Accessible bathroom inside.”

“If you are looking for an authentic Nepalese food, look no further. Panas Gurkha is a family-run restaurant in Lewisham that is also heavily involved in a charity work. We especially liked their traditional dishes like Thimi vegetables and masu farci (house special lamb) and the Ghurka beer of course!”

“Went there last week for the first time and loved the food so much that I made another trip in the same week! Highly recommend the lamb chops and kale chaat - never tried anything like that before. It’s a cosy restaurant with friendly staff and quirky decor. Conveniently, there’s also parking very close by. I did find it pricey, but the quality and innovation behind the dishes makes up for it. I also like that with some dishes they ask how spicy you’d like it which is different from most Indian places I’ve been to. Will definitely be back again soon!”
