“Love the Gganpunggi! So juicy and tender. Not too spicy, nor too sweet. LA galbi is on the chewy side, samgyeopsal is good with lettuce and ssamjang. Minimum 2 portions for table top BBQ. Charcoal is used, which is a big plus. Staff are friendly, toilets are clean, tap water is available (as required by law), not too expensive, service charge added to final bill”

“Some of the best food I’ve ever tasted. The tacos were soft yet had the correct amount of crunch to ensure the full chewing experience was comfortable. The chicken wings took my breath away, I’ve never eaten wings so well cooked. As soon as I got home I ate the food with the intention to save the rest until later, this did not happen I enjoyed it all instantly. I would recommend this 100% to anyone and everyone the best service also. The chef was so kind and helpful with ensuing our food was well prepared and on such a clean surface also.”

“Excellent selection of meaty and vegan burgers. I got the smokin' gun and it was great. Jerk chips nice and crispy with tasty dips. Only negative was that the patty was a bit thin so might be worth upgrading to two patties. Pub is a bit run down but adds to the charm and has a good vibe for the football too.”

“Horangee Pocha is a newly opened authentic Korean restaurant with guest rooms upstairs, owned and operated by a Korean family. Simple dishes such as Korean fried rice, sweet curry and freshly brewed craft beer are all super delicious. Staff are very friendly. Look for super friendly and sociable Jeff who knows everything from food, beer to story of the historic restaurant building and Old Kent Road. Karaoke rooms of the restaurant are due to open this Summer.”

“I reached out to OKA to help me with a special request putting together a custom sushi "cake" for my partner's birthday. To say the least, I was not disappointed (see pictures!!). The staff were extremely attentive and I got to speak to the chef directly to discuss the ingredients and decorations of the cake. They even added extra details like gold leaf and floral decorations! The cake was delivered at a specified time to our doorstep with sushi condiments and a sparkler candle included. My partner and I are very impressed with the service and attention to detail. Thank you so much to all the staff that helped make this happen!”

“Ordered a 3 course Sunday lunch which I collected. Starters was a prawn cocktail with focaccia and butter followed by roast beef, roast turkey, massive yorkshire pudding, 5 separate veggies, including honeyed parsnips and lashings of gravy. Followed by lemon meringue and ice cream, which we ate a couple of hours later. My wife said it was the best roast she had ever had, and I had to agree. Well done the Chequers Inn at Heaverham”

“Our meal at Sollip was absolutely exceptional, from start to finish - we enjoyed flavours we'd never tasted before and combinations of ingredients that were a real delight. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and knowledgable and made the entire dining experience a memorable one. I love how they asked which our favourite course was - because in all honestly, I couldn't answer! The wine pairing was also first-class.
