“We brought a BUYAGIFT VOUCHER and after reading the reviews on the restaurant we had low expectations we rang many times and couldn’t get through to redeem our voucher. That being said we went anyways with fingers crossed. We was greeted by a young waitress who couldn’t be more helpful we had a lovely seat in middle of the restaurant. And they gave us an alternative menu 3 courses every course from the first to the last was absolutely beautiful well Presented and very tasty. Didn’t have cocktails but had lovely alternative drink. Was not rushed out didn’t pay for any extras as the meal deal was enough for us and I’m a large lad. And if you did want Extras then clearly Stated on menu. Wasn’t happy with the cheese cake but really enjoyed the cheese board. Will be going back for the Hilton stay and definitely going back for the full menu highly recommend thank you for an amazing night.”

“Found this little place while in the Kings Road, Just off the Main Street is a lovely little cafe which reminds me of the Caves in Menorca. Lovely friendly and charming staff, good prices and great service with a smile. Will definitely visit again.”

“Absolutely banging coffee. Best in the area. Even worth walking off the high street for. The cinnamon buns and Danish swirls are top notch! The shop itself is also well worth checking out. Everything from high end furniture to smaller quirky gifts and even fresh flowers on certain days. Favourite local shop that, I wanna reiterate, is well worth journeying to.”

“Mugs Patisserie has to be my favourite coffee shop in Twickenham. I love coming here on a Saturday or Sunday morning for a slow relaxed cup of cafe and a pastry/cake. It can get busy but not in the same hectic/heaving way you may see in 1-2 other places in Twickenham, nor is it the empty soulless place you see with so many chains. This hits the sweet spot and the pastries are wonderful and coffee great. The staff always offer a big smile on arrival. There is some writing on the wall that says “You cannot make everyone happy - you are not coffee”. A little place of joy!”

“Came to check to out this new coffee place that opened up across the common. The ambience is really lovely and relaxed with a view of the park and I highly rate the flat whites here. Staff are really friendly and pleasant. Will definitely be coming again!”

“I booked Medlar for wife's birthday, I saw the reviews were decent and I thought I give it ago myself. I like the menu was just a set price. Either opting for the 2 course or 3 course menu. As it was a celebration we opted for the 3 course menu. The menu looked great with a nice selection of options. My wife went for the crab ravioli to start and I chose the tuna option. Both were really tasty, the tuna was fresh and light with a lovely Asian dressing. We ordered the rioja red wine which was lovely. Its nice you can bring your own wine and pay the corkage fee. They brought us lovely bread through out courses which was a nice touch. My wife had the beef for mains and I went for the monkfish. Both were beautiful cooked and delicious. For dessert I had the chocolate moose and my wife had the creme brulee. If was a lovely finish to the meal. We enjoyed the food it felt quite high end and seemed decent value. As it was my wife's birthday they surprised her with a sorbet with a candle in it and some complimentary marshmallows and chocolate truffles.”

“My partner stopped in for something quick before we left the area and it was the perfect stop. We both got delicious coffees, his an americano, mine a seasonal latte. We then split a cinnamon roll (it was delicious as well) and got our own toasties. His was better as it was a more adventurous pick. Brie, cranberry, and bacon. I got the ham and cheese. Loved both, preferred his! We will return when we are in the area. Unfortunately we aren’t locals or we’d be there weekly.”

“Had such a lovely experience here last week! We were greeted by the lovely waitress with blue hair who took her time to tell us all about the items for both myself and my pooch Bebe. I had a lovely coffee whilst Bebe throughly enjoyed his gluten free cupcake with mashed potato icing! I cant wait to come here again and try more things on the menu and I know Bebe cant either.”

“One of the most beautiful park in UK, beautiful flower beds and very nice playground for kids. It has got toilet and small cafe too. The location is perfect and whole London can be seen from here. You can easily spend 5-6 hrs here.”

“Nice atmosphere, very friendly staff and delicious meals... It's above the standards of most classic turkish/Mediterranean restaurants. You should try hand made baklava and it has already become my favourite as well. Looking forward to my next visit. Definitely recommended.”

“This is a beautiful place, especially if you like cheese and a good location! Located on the busy street, it’s fairly quiet inside away from traffic. Here you can expect something nice rather than a run of the mill restaurant. It wasn’t busy when attending mid-week early evening, so makes a good place before heading to a nearby theatre.”
