Taro Japanese Restaurant
“Fantastic restaurant that just opened serving wholesome Japanese dishes cooked to perfection. Easily one of the best Japanese restaurant in London for a nice casual meal. Also had the pleasure of meeting the owner who is a wonderful person.”
Yuhoki Japanese Restaurant
“Found this awesome sushi place on Google. Loved their service and sushi menu. I tried the sushi set for 2. Tastes great and totally worth it. Will visit again. I wish they open up more centres in central london.”
Xenia Japanese Restaurant and Bar
“I recently hired Xenia for a private party and I can’t recommend it enough! The place is so beautiful and the staff are amazing. They helped with all aspects of my party planning and all my guests had a fantastic night!”
米 kome japanese sushi
“I've only ordered off Uber Eats so far but the food is incredible. I've had two different bento boxes, the beef teriyaki and the chicken teriyaki. Both were really great. Good value for money, tasty, and filling. The Japanese wings and bubble tea are pretty good too. I would recommend it to everyone. Going to keep trying things from here including the sushi.”
The Japanese Canteen
“Enjoying the Dan Dan noodles from Japanese canteen. Delicious. Good to see JC still delivering tasty and quick meals in the city.”
Sushi Gourmet (in Sainsburys)
“Wow!!! This is a fantastic and convenient spot to get sushi whenever you want it. This is because this sushi gourmet place has a large range of options and choice. The choices vary from the simplicity of a Nigiri to salads and big rolls. It has options of small and £10 boxes of nigiri and other sushi rolls and bigger portions of £20 that are more complicated rolls. It has deliveroo as takeaway and delivery service. However, it’s in Sainsbury’s in the centre right at the back of the store. This doesn’t mean that it has a bigger difference on this gourmet style and other Japanese restaurant. It only contains sushi and not brothers or other Japanese dishes as it’s only a Sushi Gourmet. When I go there I always get the nigiri rolls because they’re fresh and simple and also delicious. I’ve also been to other Japanese authentic restaurants and it’s different regarding the taste of the sushi because it’s not a chain but a single restaurant. However it’s not that big of a difference regarding freshness.”
The Sushi Co - Kensington
“I just happened to come across “The Sushi Co” while going somewhere else. The staff were incredibly nice and detail-oriented. I had a Salmon Orange box and a Miso soup and it was A-ok. Listen, it’s not glamorous, high-end, sushi, but if you manage those expectations, it’s a good, nice, quick place to grab a bite to eat.”
Lets Eat Sushi
“Very laid back atmosphere, and the freshest sushi I've had in a long time. Server was impeccable, I hope more people discover the place!”
Sushi Rigon
“The best in town. Reasonable price, and the fastest delivery”
Sushi Moto
“Very delicious and tasty sushi. We ordered mega platter for 5 person it was just enough for everyone. Sub shell crab is item to try. Pint of asahi to beat the heat. Will visit again for sure.”
Obon - Sushi & Udon
“Had such an amazing meal here last night, such delicious fresh sushi and really friendly staff. Will definitely go back!”
Koyo Sushi
“Second time in two weeks. First time, brothers birthday. Second, with work colleagues. Alex is a warm and attentive host with newbies(of Japanese cuisine), staff are genuinely supportive and informative about the stunning and tasty dishes. Also grateful for the recommendations to other bars in Amersham (The Beech house). Koyo is a worthy Japanese SUSHI experience, please book as space is limited. Food is freshly made and competitively priced. Alcohol is available, traditionally Japanese beers and wines as well as quality champagne and fine wines. Located 8mins walk from the Metropolitan train station. Though myself being a little lazy came by taxi from Uxbridge. Certainly worthwhile.”
Marugame Udon Bromley
“Brand new Japanese restaurant that officially opened today. Superb food and great experience. Plenty of seating both inside and outside. The Katsu curry rice bowl and salmon fillet rice bowl tasted amazing.”
Sushi Show
“Sushi is pretty high quality, such a delight to have it for this price. The portion of the rice is perfect but hope neta could go a bit thicker even if they have to raise the price (Still very good) gyudong and chicken teriyaki are good too, especially chicken teriyaki is highly recommended if you want hot meals. - tender, soft and the chicken soaked up the sauce pretty well. Loooved it. Gonna try everything there!”
You Me Sushi
“Been purchasing sushi from here ever since it opened, and not once has the quality failed to impress me. The sushi is at a very reasonable price, and the sushi tastes very fresh, and highly delicious. Highly recommend!”
Sticks'n'Sushi Covent Garden
“Had a perfect experience here. Staff were super friendly, ambience was great (massive fan of the dim lighting) and food & drink (sparkling lemonade is 10/10) was amazing. Came for my wife’s birthday and the complimentary dessert was really nice, flag on our table was a cool touch too. What impressed me was how accommodating the staff was, we requested non alcoholic soy sauce as we are Muslim and there was no fuss made, they ensured us they’d make sure there’s no alcohol in our food at all. We ordered the black cod and our server told us that they didn’t include it in the order as it has alcohol and offered to replace it with an alternative. Very considerate service, would definitely return and recommend to everyone I know!”
Chisou Sushi and Izakaya
“Excellent experience at Chisou Mayfair. The sushi was delicious and fresh, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The service was also top-notch, with the waitstaff being friendly and attentive(even gave us a free starter!). It was definitely worth the money spent.”
Onami Sushi
“Been using Onami for years. Great food at a great price. Good Sushi isn't cheap, but i always find Onami very reasonable. Big Fans of their Futomaki and the Tempura veg. Keep up the great work guys! Five stars.”
Akira Restaurant at Japan House London
“I been here for afternoon tea experience as a birthday present and it has been such an unforgettable memory. We had a mixture of creative sushi and sweets minimal the Japanese way ... They have a great choice of special non green tea like the Hinoki a wooden one amazing! I will be back !”
Marugame Udon Canary Wharf
“Consistent quality, great price for value, prime location. Views not particularly fancy but will do the job. Quite spacious with 30+ seats. Tap water integrated into the soft drink machine which is better as it’s easier to locate. Can’t request more with such a price.”
Eat Tokyo (Notting Hill Gate)
“The moment you enter the place a smell of deliciousness hits your nose and makes you want to sit down and order even more. They have a lot of staff members and with a reason. It’s a busy restaurant. The service was good nevertheless. The food was amazing. Tasty. Filling. Affordable. Honestly, everything one would need. It’s honestly such a gem in the city centre. Prompts to them for keeping their prices the way they are!”
Tokimeite
“Amazing restaurant! Food is phenomenal and the chefs are so nice. Jon puts on a great show and is extremely talented. I would say the best Japanese restaurant in London in terms of both food and atmosphere.”

“Absolitely incredible food! Loved it! The staff are very polite and helpful and know key japanese phrases which make it a nice experience :) the food was of REALLY good quality and we got tickets with sake pairings too. We had 5 different sakes (never had sake before) and theh were sooo smooth! Actually asked for the name and brand of them so we could buy a bottle too. Would come back 100%! P. S. Booked a chef table experience for this place through "design my night".”
