Bento Boys
● Closed“I was excited about this new Japanese restaurant that they open just yesterday. I went there today and I would definitely come back again. Staff are very friendly and my meal was really lovely (love the Unagi Don yum)! It does give me nostalgic memories of my trip to Japan in the past. I would recommend to give Bento Boys a try. You deserve a 5 star. ⭐️”

-
Haruka Japanese Cuisine
● Closed“Fantastic food, recently opened so there's a few service teething problems, but taste wise - really excellent. It's always a good sign when people on other tables ask what you've ordered - after seeing your food. We did have a 30% off voucher, so I guess it could be a little pricey at full price, because it feels like a cafe - but if the venue quality was better, it'd definitely be worth it. Even the desert was delicious. Highly recommend”

Home Bento
● Closed“Initially was going to a different restaurant but it was closed and I was starving. As it was takeout only I got the spicy fish cake gimbap which was £5 and came as 6 well filled hand rolls. It was actually spicy and the flavours and texture were phenomenal. If I wasn’t an hour from home I would have ordered more. Will definitely find time to return and try out the other menu options. The staff were nice and service was prompt and if they resume dine in again I’d dig the ambience”

Bento Bab
● Closed“Great and authentic Korean food. Super fast service in seating and in food preparation. I confirmed with the staff that all the chicken and beef dishes on the menu are HALAL. We went at about 6:30pm and only had to wait about 5 minutes for a table despite it being very busy. The food is ordered via your own mobile phone by scanning the QR code located on the table – but if you have any questions about the food the staff are very friendly in helping out as they did with us. The food arrived pretty quick after ordering even in a packed house. Great tasting food. Very friendly staff. They were kind, efficient and hard working. One of the staff members kindly explained what each of the kimchi we ordered were and let us know the best way to enjoy it with our meal - even in a busy restaurant she took the time out to have a conversation with us so we could have a better experience. Bento Bap is located very close to Aldgate East Station however if you want to save some money on train travel, I recommend getting off at Whitechapel Station and walking down as it would be cheaper since Whitechapel is in Zone 2. Overall, great experience, great food, great staff. Highly recommend. Thank you very much for a lovely time Bento Bap!”

Hoshi Japanese Restaurant
● Closed“Editing review back to 5 star, after consistently delicious take away. I used to be a fan of Hashi, then the quality of food dropped. I haven’t ordered anything for over a year until recently, to be pleasantly surprised. I’ve now had a great experience 3 times in a row and can say Crunch and Hoshi maki are great again, Nasu Dengaku is the best grilled aubergine I’ve tried, salmon Tataki is delicious too. Everything tastes really fresh. Please keep it up!”

Midori Japanese Restaurant
● Closed“Delicious Food. When I use to study nearby, Midori would be my absolute go to restaurant whenever I and my friends were feeling hungry. Service is amazing, wait time isn’t too long, and the food I always trust to fill me up. I always got the same bibimbap every time I went here, and I can say for certain it’s absolutely delicious.”
-
NALA Japanese Restaurant
● Closed“Stumbled across Nala and what a great find for superb quality sushi. Small upstairs seating area but there is a downstairs as well. Friendly welcome and everything freshly prepared to order. Tried the Genmai tea and small hot sake to drink. To eat, I had the Takoyaki which was piping hot and melt in your mouth (no chewy octopus in sight) with spicy salmon, fatty tuna with spring onion and tried the snow crab and flying fish roe gunkan. Tons of flavour, perfect temperature of the rice and well balanced flavours. Can’t recommend enough for quality sushi that’s well priced. Happy Eating! Olly”

米 kome japanese sushi
● Closed“I've only ordered off Uber Eats so far but the food is incredible. I've had two different bento boxes, the beef teriyaki and the chicken teriyaki. Both were really great. Good value for money, tasty, and filling. The Japanese wings and bubble tea are pretty good too. I would recommend it to everyone. Going to keep trying things from here including the sushi.”
-
Tombo Japanese Cafe
● Closed“Staffs are SUPER SUPER nice, food and drink were delicious, I can choose to add less sugar for the drink which is nice because I like less sweet beverage. The dessert are nice too because they weren't too sweet, it would be perfect for me if the dessert has a richer matcha flavour. I'll definitely go to this cafe again if come to London again in the future!”
