Blades Restaurant
“Lovely spot! Food is superb, atmosphere is friendly and local, service is excellent!”
El Rincon Holloway London
“Small place with wonderful service and delicious food. The sharing platters are very generous for the price.”
Paneri Taverna
“Been a customer here for many many years and the quality of food has never changed...By far the best in North London and they truly deserve FIVE stars”
Jambo Zamsareh (Ugandan) Restaurant
“Been here three times. However my recent visit was incredible and blew me and my friends away. The chapatis were out of this world. To be honest, everything was really good. We had to also order more food to take home. The service was also really great.”
Paloma
“What a gem of a place. Driven past on many occasion, liked the look of the decor. Five years later I finally found myself in there and can honestly say I shall be going back. Considering the quality of the food and service provided there, this one place is very reasonably priced. They make a mean cocktail too. Not to be pushy, but you ought to try it!”
Rusty Bike Pub Chingford
“This place is amazing! Can’t believe there is a pub which serves Thai food. Apparently they also serve Japanese food but I went with Thai food instead. The portion was generous on my Tom yam and pad Thai. It’s definitely well presented. Tom yam may not be the best soury spicy taste but good enough to give a kick to my mouth. The location is amazing right opposite the train station. Definitely would recommend people to come here if you would like some Asian Thai or Japanese food.”
Tunch Kitchen
“Only one other table eating when we arrived mid-afternoon for our first visit to Tunch Kitchen on a lovely bank holiday Monday. We ordered the Turkish wine, which was gorgeous and were given some tasty, warm flatbreads with dips (one garlic and one chilli). We ordered from the set two course menu at £9.50 per person. Each of the meals were really delicious and portions sizes were quite big. We were offered more bread and dips with the main and were given a complementary dessert to share. Theo, our waiter, was brilliant and the decor and ambience were great. Will definitely be going back again very soon!”
Indian YMCA Restaurant
“Awesome lunch . I've been here a few times, and yesterday I visited again. I was not disappointed. Rice, Dal, sambar , mutter paneer, chicken with garlic and pepper ( so hot and delicious) . If you're in London looking for authentic Indian meal then this is it. This is the cafe for a hostel so food is served only at fixed times . Please check the timings before you go.”
PAYA EWELL
“Quality and plentiful food. Reasonably priced. Speedy delivery. 1st time but wont be last. I had chinese and my partner had thai. It was splendid.”
Air Time Thai
“I've only used Gaab Kao for takeaway, both delivery and collection, but it's a great Thai restaurant. Friendly staff, great prices and delicious food. In my opinion, the best noodles in town!”
The Old Paparazzi
“Fantastic food prepared by Chef Alex. A husband and wife owned concern that offers a unique dining experience. What helps is that there is local car parking which only helps expedite your taste buds. Do not delay your visit, aided by a white table cloth environment. CHEERS!”
Cafe Murano St James
“Unpretentious decor, friendly service and an excellent menu. The Mushroom arancini and Pappardelle with taggiasca olive and rabbit ragu were particularly delicious. Perfect for a family dinner.”
Mine Mane
“I had the Beef Kofta my son had the moussaka. Fabulous food tasty good portions, well presented. Staff polite, great service. First trip for Greek food in a while.”
ABC Cafe
“Masallah my brother was handsome and quick! Food was warm and chicken was not chilli”
The White Hart Harlington
“The most amazing steak I’ve had in a while! The staff were so friendly and accommodating, loved the ambiance and the service provided! Would definitely go back!”
The Victoria
“Incredible portions, beautiful food, welcoming environment and very helpful and attentive staff. This is the best Gastro pub in Surrey by miles. Great price point, play area for the kids and an adequate sized car park. It’s got mood lighting in the pub and more light in the restaurant, a great ambience for a long lazy lunch or a quick bite. We will definitely go back.”
The Cock Inn at Sarratt
“Lovely walk followed by lunch at this pub - very good value and very large servings.”
The New Inn
“A great place to stop for a pint and a bite to eat in you way along the Wey. A ploughman's a halloumi burger and a beef burgundy were pleasant nets enjoyed with local ale.”
The Arab Boy
“Spot on home delivery of the vegetarian roast !! I am a roast dinner expert , and everything about this door to door delivery was 5 star! Lovely staff on the phone and upon delivery! Very satisfied customer ! Cheers guys !”
The Corner Pin
“Had a great time in a real old school community based pub… was welcomed and made to feel totally at ease. Great Guinness and cheaper than anywhere else we tried along Garrett Lane.”
The Woodman Pub
“We had a wonderful lunch at The Woodman - the food was amazing and the staff were so friendly (even the chef popped out with some extra chillis for one of us). The Sunday craft table for kids was a hit with our 4 year old. Perfect spot for a Sunday lunch!”
Toolans London
“Nice place nice atmosphere one of the ladies behind the bar was called Jane so friendly and helpful wonderfully!”
Royal Oak
“Stopped in the pub for a quick lunch - amazing! Lovely & cozy place, gorgeous food, and the gentleman behind the bar was so sweet :)))”
The Blackfriar
“The Blackfriar gets it's name as it was built on the site of an old monastery. When you walk in the first thing you do is look around you everywhere as it is stunning. It is part of the Nicholson chain of pubs so it does decent food, I had a vegetable&lentil pie and it set me up well for a day of drinking! In the 1960's The Blackfriar was nearly lost to redevelopment, which goes to show how fragile the future of pubs even the most historic can be. It is conveniently located across the road from...you guessed it Blackfriars Station, it is on the Thameslink or the London Underground.”
The Bird Restaurant & Lounge
“Great place for any occasion. You have drinks, great tasting food and also an outdoor area to enjoy too. The staff are always very welcoming. I keep finding myself going here very often, definitely a gem in north London”
The Grange Pub
“It’s the most accessible and inclusive pub in Bermondsey. It combines the atmosphere of a pub and good quality restaurant in one. There are few pubs in the area you can enjoy a drink in the warmth and actually be able to hear and have a good conversation with friends. It’s beautifully decorated and has a back garden with heaters. It has a friendly vibe - staff like to get to know customers needs and even if you just want to come a chill out with a book in peace you’re completely welcome. * Dog friendly * Chilled space with wifi to work or read * Lovely food - real pizza oven * Great atmosphere which encourages good customers * Zero tolerance for rowdy or aggressive customers * Good selections of drinks and wines As a female, I often enjoys a quiet drink with a book after work. In other pubs in the area I can find myself being harassed or males come, sit and wont leave me alone despite my requests. I’ve never had a problem here. The owner and staff are clear this is a space for everyone to feel comfortable and have a zero tolerance for rude, rowdy or aggressive customers.”
The Cutty Sark
“What a wonderful pub, we had the Chefs Roast which was absolutely superb. The staff are friendly and there is a lovely vibrant atmosphere. We had a table in the window of the Crows Nest which gave us an incredible view of the Thames. Cannot wait to return, highly recommend ❤️ Thank you”
