“A serene quiet atmosphere, calm. Food was delicious, loved the spices. The meat used in the steamed buns, samsa and soup have a very similar great taste, just know that if you want variet. The top two dishes were the Pilaf and Soup. Closely followed by Samsa. Pilaf had great texture, rice was interestingly sweet and meat melted Soup with meat dumplings had an aromatic smell, it was light but filling All the food had a homey flavor like your grandmother made it. Would definitely visit again.”

“I’ve been to many Turkish restaurants in London and I have to say that this ranks at the top. The chicken was extremely soft and juicy, the lamb chops and lamb sish were cooked to perfection and the Adana had interesting herbs. Overall the meat was very juicy. I’d recommend mixed grill as the main and the Hummus with Lamb as the starters. Also their garlic and Chili sauce was very good!”

“We popped in spontaneously on a Saturday evening during peek time in Central London. The service was quite fast and friendly. Spacious seating area. The food was freshly cooked and delicious and the portions are solid. Reasonable price. Overall, a good experience!”

Our baby kicked my wife’s entire dinner on the floor and the staff kindly replaced it for free, which they clearly were not obliged to do and nor did we even ask as they noticed and came over to us. “Food is excellent, thai restaurant in one side of traditional pub, friendly atmosphere, nice old building but the food is the main thing. Always leaves you wanting more, unless you go for the set menu, which is great value and a super selection of dishes. I'm already looking forward to going again.”

“This has been our go to for the last 3 years. Really gutted to be moving and not being able to continue having the perfectly made food. “Don't go to many places on their opening week due to my thinking it will be too busy and I hate waiting for a table. However Ive seen this place get refurbished for a few weeks and the inside deco just was eye catching, so thought I had to visit this place. Went on the 3rd day of opening and was full house but luckily we got a table straight away. Due to the business there was a wait to get the order In and for the food to come out but I must admit it was worth it. Firstly the deco of this place is one of the best I've seen, so unique and elegant, was told by the owner the wall deco was painted all by hand. Food wise now managed to try a large variety of the menu as there were 7 of us eating so tried a bit from everyone and overall would give it 4 out of 5 stars, high quality ingredients were used, flavourful however felt the presentation could have been more wow factor to match then deco, hence the 4 stars but overall for everything definitely 5 stars. Management was amazing also as they weren't serving a dessert menu during opening week but the owner went back and made us an exclusive dessert just for us as we were the last table. For Thai food in East London I would say this is the place to go.”
