“Excellent cafe I had the pancakes breakfast number 1 that came with pancakes bacon sausage hashbrowns scrambled egg and toast all beautifully cooked and super tasty. The cafe itself is very clean and tidy with very friendly helpfull staff. The menu is stacked with all foods from super health to super treats and also great milkshakes and beverages.”

“Been having takeaway from these guys for the past couple of years and generally they're great. The curries are really tasty and naans are always excellent. Delivery is usually fairly swift and friendly. Only criticism is that sometimes the papadoms are over done and not that fresh (chewy).”

“Navratna hosted a surprise 40th birthday party for a close family member. They were very generous in accommodating us on a Monday (when they are usually closed). We were given the entire restaurant and facilitated early entry allowing us to decorate and re-arrange the seating. Food was lovely as always and well presented despite the larger number of guests. The chef and staff were very attentive and polite throughout and served with humility. Navratna provided a memorable evening and we are very thankful for their hospitality. Highly recommended.”

The restaurant itself is one big room and not the brightest lighting. Still works. We will definitely come back for another meal.”

The owner is Mo he's brilliant at suggesting really nice authentic Indian dishes if you want something a little more true to asian cooking he will cater for you. The only downside is the disable access to the restaurant and the bathroom, otherwise they are willing to help in any way they can. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Ps not badly priced either so looking forward to another visit before I leave London.”

“I was surprised at the lower reviews. I have ordered takeaway lunch twice. First I had iddyuppam, the only slightly negative comment I can make was that aubergine portion was pretty small. Yesterday I ordered chicken kottu rotti and chicken curry, both were super tasty and I'll definitely be returning.”

Also great in this small restaurant was that one of the main guys there was very pleasant and easy to talk to. Under new management and ownership, with now a great atmosphere in a wonderful location, a short distance from East Croydon Station, with lovely welcoming staff, a brilliant catering team preparing amazing Afro-Caribbean Food. “First time using Ranna Ghor. We had one issue - received chicken Tikka Masala instead of paneer. I called the restaurant and they were genuinely sorry and very apologetic and got us a replacement promptly. How they react to a problem is often how I judge a place and this was good customer service. As for the food... excellent all round and we will definitely use again. Impressed!”
