“This has quickly become my favourite Indian restaurant. Not just locally but overall in London. Very few places consistently have great tasting food. I've been here like 5 times now so it's only right that I leave a review. I absolutely love the chilli paneer and the goan prawn curry. They also have the best naan which isn't dry like other restaurants. Also tried a cocktail during my most recent visit and thought it was delicious.”

“The best Indian food around! Tons of options on the menu, very rich in flavour, for reasonable prices. Staff is very friendly, best if you check with them about a 'spicy' level of each dish (some meals are extremely hot). Option to bring your own drinks to the restaurant is a big plus!”

“Food was delicious. Employee in front of the restaurant will talk to everyone passing by and lure them inside with pretty good deals. Inside was not very spacious, but we made it work. We were offered free drinks if we would post a 5 star review on Google. We would recommend for the food, that was really tasty.”

“Probably the best Indian food I’ve had, definitely nothing around Chingford as good. Awesome flavours in all dishes and always something free on the house on top of our order. Its also cheap! Genuinely awesome food. My wife doesn’t like flavours in food and hates spicy, but when she tried this food she was amazed! Loves Chicken Biryani and Tarka Dall. She tries all my foods(but she cries is spicy for her) Mr Naseeb as well a lovely guy!”

“Used to shop here when I was in London. The best market in the neighborhood. You can find anything, thousands of products from different countries waiting for you to shop. Ardil and Akif are great people, if you ask for help they're always trying to do their best. Couldn't find any market in my new place, today I was chatting with my friends about shopping and remembered here and I noticed that I didn't give 5 star for here. “A restaurant serving authentic Indian cuisine. Food items are tasty . Very delicious brinjal preparation is their specialty. Very tasty paneer preparation. Liked the fish curry also. Starters are awesome. Neat and clean wash rooms. Space is comparatively smaller. Nice and silent environment around.”

“Mix grill was one of the best, good value, can be starter for 2 to start with. Chicken Birayani was superb and I also order chicken curry with bone , I would prefere bit more masaladar with green chilli spiced, like Desi Falvor and, it's says ghee may be more brown butter, Garam Desi Flavour Garam Masla and brunt ghee ! Garlic Naan was superb. Papadam and all relish, dips were fantastic, eveything Desi style, my son love the raita, I love that red spicy sauce and tamarind chutney. What you need with chillied Cobra beer and all of this. See you guys again with all of my friends and family. Kudos to Chef and his team.”

“Well you get used to Indian restaurants all being much the same, but at Mahirah they have broken the mould and the difference is in their service. We were greeted well, but rather than being left to peruse the menu, were intuitively offered poppadoms and of course beers (two blokes out for an Indian, how did they guess). After ordering we were left to chat over our poppadoms and pickles (5 beautifully different ones) and quietly advised when our main course was ready, but also encouraged not to rush, but to let them know when we were ready; this was a really nice touch. It might sound like an afterthought but the food was all just terrific, my curry being fresh and spicy but not spicy hot for example. Great food, great service, Great Scott, go give it a try.”

“Kipling's continues to be one of the best Indian restaurants in the area. I visited with a friend after drinks and it hit the spot again. We shared a tandoori mixed grill platter which was perfectly cooked and I had Chilli Chicken Massala which is my favourite curry here. The Naan was soft with a touch of crispiness and our side of Bhindi Bhaji had been cooked until just before it lost the firmness, nothing like the mushy version you get elsewhere.”
