Monkey Temple
● Closed“We have been a customer for some time now (mostly ordering take aways). Spontaneously, we decided to give them a call to book for a table on that night to dine in and the food was even better in person than via takeaway (if that's even possible). From the starters to the main, everything was delicious. The staff is also very attentive and deserve all the praise for the success of the restaurant (Friday night and it was BUSY! No empty tables and their telephone didn't stop.) Monkey Temple is likely to be the best curry in London.”

MamaGee Biryani House
● Closed“Visited this restaurant with a friend and we had Phad Kee Mao (drunken noodles) and chicken and black bean sauce. ● Closed“You’re in for a surprise! Not much to look at from the outside but you do walk into a very Kerala household decor - soft lights, woodwork and a very chilled out ambience. The food was brilliant- we ordered the beef and two types of fish curries with Kerala parottas (bread) and some steamed rice. Spiced well - not “burn your mouth off hot”. Staff are lovely - had a nice chat with us and made sure the service was top notch. Value for money but mainly a great meal served up by some great people! P.S. - too hungry to take food pictures :(”

Aroma Spice Hampstead
● Closed“I was a little worried upon receiving my delivery to find a note asking me to leave a positive review in exchange for a discount. This made me worry that all the positive reviews I'd read on here before ordering were bogus. But I was pleasantly surprised to find the food is just as delicious as everyone says! They nailed the chicken tikka masala - good quality chicken, the sauce was spot on. A portion of pilau rice is just enough for one person. They even threw in some poppadoms and mint sauce for free - which you don't often see these days! I will be ordering from here again.”

Pali Kitchen Bond Street
● ClosedLondon W1C 2JT, United Kingdom“One of the most affordable and authentic Indian takeaway places. The Bombay chicken is exactly how it tastes back home. Very fresh salad, well cooked and perfectly spiced chicken. I have never eaten this good chicken curry at this price point in London. Kudos to the staff and chef. Please please please don’t ever change your recipe. It will remind a lot of people of home. I would prefer to skip the expensive Mayfair Indian restaurants and rather take away 2 bowls from here for a better taste and authentic Indian chicken curry”

Yaatra
● Open“Absolutely wonderful meal. The service was kind and attentive. The food was spectacular (our favourites were the prawns, the chicken curry and the daal). The drinks selection is really interesting and fun. It was lovely chatting to Francis, the manager, who clearly cares a lot about his guests. It's a new neighbourhood favourite and we'd recommend it highly.”

Curry Cartel
● Closed“Had this yesterday night. My new favourite curry in the area by a long shot, best was Anglo Spice before... Went for the Chicken Korma, massive pieces of chicken, great portion size, tasty sauce. Mint sauce colour was a vibe. If I had to be really picky, I'd say Onion Bahjii was slightly too salty, and the cardamom in the Pilau could be toned down slightly, as was a little overpowering. Having said this, would 100 percent order again. Good job Curry Cartel!”

Mint Fusion

These guys appear to really consider the taste of their dishes. Delivered five minutes early. Good sized portions. Very nice delivery person. Our new regular.”

Forest Tandoori Walthamstow
● Closed“I've been coming back to Forest Tandoori for years now and it's never deviated in terms it's high quality food and great service. Some stand out dishes on this year's visit were the tandoori chicken wings, king prawn puri, and garlic chili dish (some of which are pictured below). You can bring your own booze from the off license next door and the corkage fee is very reasonable. I'm very much looking forward to returning next year!”

Fatt Pundit
● Closed“Had an amazing dinner here. The friendly service, delicious flavours and calm atmosphere make it a great place for a small group or date night. Highly recommend the crackling spinach - I’ve never had better spinach before. The cauliflower was also amazing. Just beware about the spice levels - we got the duck dish which had a lot of heat! We enjoyed it but others could find it too spicy”

Dhamaka Restaurant
● Closed“Newly opened (July 22), and very welcome to Ickenham. Smart interior design. Menu with some unfamiliar items which are mostly just your curries under different names. Extensive vegetarian options. Standard bar. Food was really good. Service a little hesitant as team settle in. Prices low now because of opening promotion.”

Warmly welcomed by owner Dev and professional waitress Lipika, we had a succulent festive dinner . A large selection of typical regional dishes from Bombay local Khas, or a more classic tandoor or dal, your 5 senses will be submersed. The whole accompanied with a nice bottle of wine . Thank you very much . We shall be back soon.”

Nandini's Bar and Dining
● Closed“Best curry in surrey we went this evening and had an amazing meal. Quiet time between Xmas and new year so had the place to ourselves but service was charming and unobtrusive. Had a lovely chat with the owner and his sister, the chef. The food was amazing! Great starters- Tandoori fish, spinach and kebabs but the star was the laal mas which had an incredible sauce with such a depth of flavour! Good value for money, good wine and we have already booked to go back in Jan and take friends. Thank you for a lovely evening! 28th May 2022 We went back this evening for dinner and food and service was fantastic again! Street snacks are amazing and warm and welcoming service.”

Namaste Gurkha - Hayes Branch
● Closed“Last night I checked out places to eat out in Hayes for today and I came across your establishment. I was not sure about it but out of sentiment for Nepal which we visited exactly 5 years ago, and out of curiosity, we gave it a go! What a good decision it was! A clean and atmospheric place it is, with a smiling young woman taking orders, and really tasty food. My rice cooked to perfection, chicken and dahl yummy, all fresh, and the milk tea just as I like it. All four of us were very happy with the experience. And what's important, many Nepali people eat there too!”
-

Lahori Masala Southall
● Closed“Firstly, the staff were brilliant and very friendly. The food was very tasty and the portion was good. The food was also reasonably priced and arrived within the expected time. The atmosphere was at the correct temperature as well as the decor being very nice. As the food arrived the staff made sure we had everything and if we needed anything else, even half way through our meal they asked if there was anything more we wanted, this showed customer service at it's best. Will definitely recommend this place as I will be coming here whenever I come to Southall.”

● Closed“People who love to eat are always the best people." "To eat is a necessity, but to eat intelligently is an art." "We all eat, an it would be a sad waste of opportunity to eat badly." "If you really want to make a friend, go to someone's house and eat with him...the people who give you their food give you their heart.that’s the food I crave for everyday with different varieties cooking with love and put your heart in it will be delicious food ever no matter what kind of cuisine you are preparing for trust me it will be one of a kind to have a great taste buds for every individual to know about the food and culture you have to go through and see yourself every corner how to it’s made then you will enjoy the rest !! All you need is love. If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.” “This above all: to thine own self be true, “One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well.”
