“Amazing store with a huge variety of every ingredient required for any Indian dish you wish to make plus more. They specialise in South Indian cooking & have fresh idli & dosa mixes as well as the all important fresh curry leaves. However, they also have spices for other regions too. They do a lot of imported products such as Gur, Amul Ghee, dried spices &, during Mango season, they have the most delicious honey mangos from Pakistan. A must visit for all your cooking needs.”

Funky Flavours
“We had a quick dinner here before our visit at the WB museum, very good and nice staff, friendly to foreigners and helpful, the food was prepared from fresh ingredients, tasted amazing and had a lot of spice and herbs used in it, which gave it the right flavor and I was surprised by the low price compared to other places in London. If you are in this area and hungry, I recommend this place.”
Tikka Nation
“Wife and I went shopping in Watford and were looking for a quick lunch before we headed home. Stumbled upon the Tikka Nation stall in the Atria centre. Smelt really nice and the menu had a surprisingly good range of offerings. I chose a Dhaba chicken wrap with a tortilla and the wife went for a paneer tikka wrap with a naan and the masala fries. The person who served us clearly cared a lot about the quality of the food explaining carefully to the staff member that we had asked for if we could choose our fillings. The food was really high quality and throughout we felt as though we were customers who mattered even though it was quite busy. Massively recommended and fills a niche that is missing in the market. I wish them massive success and will be returning when I can. Hopefully the business can expand even more!”
Blue Lagoona
“Smart and spacious layout this is only about 100 metres from Carpenders Park station and parking is available directly outside and in the carpark on the opposite side of Station Approach. We phoned but couldn't get through. Shortly afterwards they phoned back. Placed order for collection. Adequate waiting area for collection. Staff were welcoming and attentive. The food was excellent, well cooked good ingredients and not greasy. The King prawn Jalfrezi and fish Buna are highly recommended. Will definitely be visiting again, we will try sit down.”

Quality food every time. We also tried the Stuffed Aloo Paratha, Butter Naan, Tadka Dal and Butter Chicken, both were tasty and authentic. Spice 85
“I live in the area and I've walked passed this place multiple times and have been curious to come and try it, which i finally did on Sunday night with my mate. As soon as we came in at 7pm ish, about a third of the restaurant was full and we were given our seats. The interior was very nice and classy, and the place had a high quality look. We sat down, was given poppadoms with some great sauces, it tasted insane. I got the lamp chops for starters, were amazing, and then Chicken Relaza for main, and the best part is that in between courses, you don't get hungry, because you have the poppadoms. And the food seriously tastes ridiculously good. Anyway, I left and started walking home with my mate, it was really cold, and after about 10 minutes, i realised i left my phone, so we had to walk all the way back, to find one of the waiter Kush, wearing a jacket and telling us he had just ran trying to find us to give me my phone, which was obviously really nice of him. Anyway I got my phone back, spoke to Kush for a bit with my mate, and then he offered to drive us home, which was amazingly kind of him, on top of how cold it was. Anyway, probably the best restaurant experiences i've had.”
Kasturi
“By far the best Indian restaurant in Watford. Owner and staff are so lovely when you call them. I would advise calling them direct or ordering on their website instead of ordering on ‘Food Delivery Providers’ You get a much better service.”
Rising Sun Brewers Fayre
“I came by myself to try and visit the place. As I entered, it was quiet, and there's two staff standing behind the bar. They acknowledged me by looking without verbally greeting me. I enjoyed my starters, which is soup of the day and prawn cocktail. I decided to have it in the bar, although it's the same menu in the restaurant. Soup is perfect, and the prawn cocktail is fresh and has a good presentation. I had my main course, which is sirloin medium rare.I created the sides, my way of eating healthy. Although, I noticed that they did not rest the meat that I ordered before plating it because there's blood on the plate. The service is average on the floor. No food checks, minutes after they served the food. They just come to collect the empty plates when you finish. Ordering food is by the bar, and you have to let them know the table number where you sit. I would suggest tasting the red wine you ordered before taking it to the table, as mine tasted like vinegar. Perhaps the bottle has opened for days. I guess they have to label the date they opened the bottle to let them know how long it's been displayed in the bar. The supervisor offered to replace my glass with another, which I enjoyed with my sirloin. I noticed that they were chatting with their guest by the bar and staying there without checking the floor, and as I said, they would come out on the floor when the customer finished their meal. The first thing I noticed when I sat on the table was their menus. It's sticky to the touch. Just imagine how many customers touched it, and their salt and pepper are not filled and dirty. I have to get it from another table. I also noticed that my side of the seat on table 40 is dirty. However, I noticed that they sanitised and wiped their table after use. The place is nice and cosy, and the music is just the right volume for a quiet shift. The place is very promising if only they have attention to details. The staff have the right attitude and will really please you. They have menu knowledge and can recommend something that's suitable for me and the things I requested. However, they just need to do some checks on customer satisfaction. I did not order my dessert because I am quite full. I just went to the bar and ordered cappuccino, but their coffee machine is already cleaned and switched off. I been offered a complimentary instant coffee instead.”
Chi Street food
“Great food, went with the kids and they loved it! Fresh and yummy food with staff that are patient. Can't fault it, will definitely be back.”
Jumping-Jacks
“So cheap and tasty. Come here every day for lunch when working in the office. Can't go wrong with the £4 tandoori chicken wrap! Samosa's good too.”
