● Closed“We were greeted and made comfortable by a Mr James number 2, who gave us a lovely friendly introduction and guided us through the briefing process. We then went on to play outbreak origins and another zombie game which were great fun, with guidance from James throughout the experience and was a great time for both gamers and non gamers and all ages. Thanks again James the 2nd!”

escape from the room
● Closed“For such a small space, they've made the most of sitting challenges. We did the bomb diffuse on the train challenge and it was really fun. The lady running the rooms on her own did an amazing job of making us laugh and explaining the basics of the tasks. Would happily come back, first time doing a sitting challenge and it's surprising how much can be hidden from you. Thanks again!”

Bertie and Boo Adventure Island
● Closed“We celebrated my daughter's 5th birthday at Bertie & Boo in Balham yesterday (second year running!). Just as last year, I cannot fault the team on anything - the booking process was easy as pie, the pricing clear, and the staff super friendly both on the phone and in person on the day. The kids had loads of fun during the play session, were delighted with the unicorn-shaped sandwiches and everyone loved the magic show and dance party at the end. It's a very well-oiled machine where everything runs very smoothly and the staff clearly love working with kids. 5 stars - definitely recommend!”

Gate Theatre
● Open“Saw Medea last night at The Gate Theatre and was captivated. The production (70 minutes) is almost completely two young brothers locked in their bedroom trying to amuse themselves while their parents sort out "marriage stuff". The boys were amazing and had real presence on the stage. They fought and played to fill the time while waiting for their parents. Keir Edkins O'Brien (who played the older brother) was irritated and fond of his brother at the same time and his face was so expressive. When he told Jasper (Bobby Smallbridge) that he would always be there to look after him, because he was Jasper's big brother and that is what big brothers did, forever, you really wanted to hug him. A pair of really impressive child actors.”

Mainstage Festivals
● Closed103 Gaunt Street, London SE16 7FA, United Kingdom“We loved our night @thedrivein. The staff were really helpful, finding us a parking space where we could see well and I really appreciated the choice of venue overlooking the sea! The snacks were pricey but I suppose that's to be expected and we did have a bit of an issue with our car battery and had to turn our engine on for the last ten minutes of the film or risk having a flat battery. If the staff had enforced the engines always off rule we would have missed the last bit of the film. The whole experience was great and well organised and it felt very safe with regular cleaning of the portaloos - which were spotless. Will definitely come again.”

The theatre has such an authentic french atmosphere quality about it that gives this transported feel of escapism from London wich I found to be quite liberating. The chairs was comfy and the screening and sound design of the room, made for a truly great viewing experience. A wonderful cinema for seeing movies that matter.”
