“I had my surgery for a total left hip replacement at west Middlesex hospital on the 5th August 2020. Arjuna was my surgeon and looked after me with his team from day 1. I was the first day surgery case patient for a total hip replacement at the hospital (which is exploring new ways of working given the Covid environment backdrop). My personal experience with the team at west Middlesex has been fantastic and I would highly recommend these guys to anyone looking for a great unit and indeed a great surgeon / consultant for surgery. The initial consultation for sign off for surgery, the pre - operative assessment and talking through the surgery procedure were all carried out with a high level of due care and clinical excellence. I felt as a patient that the over riding priority was achieving a great clinical outcome for me and my surgery. The day of the surgery was very well co ordinated and went smoothly. Admission was straightforward, I was administered local Anaesthetic and the surgery took around 2 hours. I arrived at 7.30am and was discharged around 7pm the same day. Just brilliant. Since discharge I have been in constant contact with Arjuna and the team and the physio unit. I have also had two follow up appointments where Arjuna has held office himself directly. I am now nearly 7 weeks post surgery and progressing well and will be back to see In 3 months time for an assessment and x ray on the new joint. Thank you to Arjuna and the whole west Middlesex team for their care and passion. They have cleverly demonstrated the high value of keeping these important services local. “Food was honestly delicious. Hummus on point, presented in an authentic but not europeanised way. The main I had was also amazing. Kaftas are full of flavour, great quality meat, not too fat, just perfect. Portion size is more then adequate and the price for all including a drink was little over £20... come on! Talk about value for money. I've been to Lebanon and I ate there. This food made the memories vivid I tell ya.”

“Amazing service from this place. I have been going there since they opened a few years ago and have always had the best service I’ve ever had from any barber shop before. The barbers always listen to requests and offer their input if maybe the request is not possible. Place is always clean and tidy and the barbers nice to talk to and you get a nice vibe here. Started going there after a run of lots of bad haircuts elsewhere and finally found my barber for the future here.”

“My wife and I visited Cheam Cottage for the first time today, and it's a fantastic place! I had the Thai fried rice with chicken (delicious) and my wife went for the Korean chicken wings with salt and pepper chips (also delicious). The portion size is generous and the lady running the place was very friendly and accommodating. We will most definitely be back!”

I can taste they clean the pipes regularly so the alcohol taste fresh, other pubs don't clean often and can notice the difference. I phoned them up Yesterday as my 8 week old puppy was having tummy problems he wouldn't move, wouldn't eat or drink. I got a call back about 45 minutes later from the vet who was very friendly and professional, She asked me to send some pictures to help with a diagnosis which I did and got a reply back very quickly. She arranged an emergency appointment for a couple of hours later. When I arrived the reception staff were delightful and the vet took great care of our little one who was back on his feet playing, eating and drinking very soon after. They also called back today to check on him. I feel it was great value for money and will always be going back. Thanks Lizzie, Lucy and there was another lady I didn't catch her name !”

“Went in for coffee but instead had a very good hot lunch of goat curry and chicken jerk. The other option was chickpeas with potatoes (next time) The glass of red wine was also very good. White wine was on offer but not chilled, which is a tad odd.”

“A wonderful cattery. I have been using Barnside for over 5 years now and board my cats three times a year. The lady owner is an absolute pleasure to deal with and nothing is too much trouble for her and her staff. My cats always come back from there very happy, having been well cared for and kept in very comfortable surroundings. I wouldn’t even contemplate taking my cats anywhere else now.”

“Busy pub in Borough Market offering tables outside, inside and covered area under the railway which is full of character. Had a nice beer and a burger reasonably prices for the area. The bar staff was also very pleasant and helpful. This is no gastro pub but it serves its purpose very well.”
