“Don't let the presentation dissuade you from going here - the flavour was wonderful. The pizza was very light and the ingredients tasted fresh. The crust looks very thick, but the base layer is actually incredibly thin. The staff was nice and all spoke Italian, adding to the authenticity of the restaurant and pizza. “The pizza at Mamma Mia is by far the best around Islington. You can taste the freshness, and I particularly like the taste of Gorgonzola with walnuts and spinach. Can’t get it anywhere else in London. Had the Tiramisu twice and it’s always been freshly made on the day. Little gem of a restaurant.”

“Went here for Valentines day. Food and service was very good and reasonably priced especially for Wimbledon Village. Would definitely come here again. Only criticism was the main course came straight after the starters which the waitress did apologise for straight away. However, overall very impressed and will come again”

“Great little hidden gem just off the main road of nothing hill, went in for a quick brunch in this Italian restaurant, ordered the pizza with burrata and sautéed aubergine, literally cooked to perfection bar and sauce and also a goats cheese and beetroot with salad nice little dish to share with the pizza. Loved the decor heaters on the inside to keep you warm and lovely staff that do care how the meal is.”

“Took the kids to the Muswell Hill branch for an early dinner. Had no reservation and was welcomed and seated immediately. Staff attentive, food came quickly, food was delicious, very reasonable pricing (kids menu is amazingly cost effective) and activity sheets for kids (2 out of 3 are young) were entertained thoroughly! No bored kids and full bellies. Will go again & recommend.”

“Late meal with kids. They didn't have pizza when we visited, which we was informed of when we entered the door (and then again when seated, just to make sure we wouldn't end up disappointed. We ordered pasta and got an extra plate for our picky and not really hungry 8-year old. Pasta was amazing! House wine on point and what really made this a 5-star is the staff. So attentive and friendly, would definitely go again when are back in the area.”

“Fantastic little place run by real Italian people! Freshly homemade pasta and desserts. Simple menu but makes you want to try all the dishes. We had delicious ravioli with porcini mashroom and sausage ( in red sauce) prepared in minutes, hot chocolate and sfogliatella, also very delicious. Everything looked very fresh and tasty. Highly recommended. I wish I could try something else tomorrow!”
