“Lovely walk followed by lunch at this pub - very good value and very large servings.”

“Small but very well laid out and decorated. 8 of us turned up without booking for food and the service was A* .. all food arrived in a timely manner and was delish! Staff couldn't of been more attentive if they tried. 100% would come again, deffo recommend.”
Alexander Pope Pub
“Very spacious and friendly pub. It’s in a beautiful location by the river, and has plenty of outdoor seating as well as indoor. I haven’t eaten here (only had drinks) but the menu looks good. Staff were friendly and toilets were clean.”
Tide End Cottage
“July, sunny weekend, and still enough places for a group of 8 to sit and enjoy the food and beer. Food was great, great selection of beers, service was good and the secret garden at the back was a bonus. I really not sure why the pub next door is so full when this little gem was half empty, but we took it to our advantage.”
The Arab Boy
“Spot on home delivery of the vegetarian roast !! I am a roast dinner expert , and everything about this door to door delivery was 5 star! Lovely staff on the phone and upon delivery! Very satisfied customer ! Cheers guys !”
The Holly Bush, Hampstead
“This really is a busy pub if you wish to dine. Especially popular with the locals. There is so much history here and being listed as a Grade 2 building. You need to make bookings to avoid being turned away from their doors. Food is good and service reasonable. Food 8/10, ambience 8.5/10, service 8/10, value for money 8/10. Quite a hidden gem!”
Dog & Bull
“Cool Spot. We almost had a hard time understanding the strong English accent of the bartenders. But we managed to work out the misunderstanding since we were the foreigners and everyone speaks credit card payment.”
The Great Northern Railway Tavern, N8
“My husband and I celebrated our marriage at the pub in June, and the venue and everyone who works there were amazing! We wanted to say a huge thank you for such a great evening. They were very communicative, helped us plan the day, set up the beautiful room upstairs, provided great food and drink, and were a joy to have share our special day with!”
The Salisbury Hotel
“This is the best roast dinner I’ve had in ages!! The beef, pork, potatoes and veg were cooked perfectly, but the prize has to go to the gravy, it’s absolutely fantastic. The staff were great too, so I’d definitely recommend the Sunday Lunch and it’s also great value.”
St John's Tavern
“Food and drinks were good! They had a great selection of desserts too., definitely worth a visit.”
The Pavilion
“Best pub in South East London. I have had the pleasure of meeting some of the most welcoming people since moving here and this pub has become our go-to local almost immediately. Sports coverage, pool, darts and live music/DJ! Great drinks selection too! A proper boozer!!”
The Lord Holmesdale Bromley
“Just enjoyed a couple of drinks and a lovely pizza here. Very clean, good service, well served ale... Great pizza. Thank you”
The Grange Pub
“It’s the most accessible and inclusive pub in Bermondsey. It combines the atmosphere of a pub and good quality restaurant in one. There are few pubs in the area you can enjoy a drink in the warmth and actually be able to hear and have a good conversation with friends. It’s beautifully decorated and has a back garden with heaters. It has a friendly vibe - staff like to get to know customers needs and even if you just want to come a chill out with a book in peace you’re completely welcome. * Dog friendly * Chilled space with wifi to work or read * Lovely food - real pizza oven * Great atmosphere which encourages good customers * Zero tolerance for rowdy or aggressive customers * Good selections of drinks and wines As a female, I often enjoys a quiet drink with a book after work. In other pubs in the area I can find myself being harassed or males come, sit and wont leave me alone despite my requests. I’ve never had a problem here. The owner and staff are clear this is a space for everyone to feel comfortable and have a zero tolerance for rude, rowdy or aggressive customers.”
Dean Swift Pub
“We liked this pub. Very clean and excellent selection of craft beers on tap. Service was on point. We've walked past this pub on previous trips but never made it in until this visit.”
Royal George
“my favourite pub in the world. amazing atmosphere, nice wood fire, super friendly staff and delicious beer at a reasonable price all set in a cosey old fashioned setting. cant beat it.”
The Coach & Horses
“Had a fantastic dinner with one of the best fish & chips I had. My mate had a top-notch burger. I had the Moving Mountains veggie burger myself last time. Unmissable. Great variety of ales and love music on Fridays. I mean, what more can you ask for?”
Lord Nelson
“There is a lovely Young lad working behind the bar, proper fit!”
The Guildford Arms
“Our server was a nice gentleman, unfortunately did not get his name. Went with family, for a reunion of sorts. Visiting from Canada, so I've never been here. Ordered the set menu. Tomato soup (it was alright, a tomato basil or a tomato bisque would have been better), the imam's bayild (the topping was amazing, not the biggest egg plant fan), and the cheese for dessert (chutney on the sweet side). Would certainly come back and try something new. Coffee a little on the tart/sour side.”
The Red Lion E6
“Beautiful place nice garden, and the food was amazing!!! The best pizza in London!!! The staff are very friendly highly recommended place!!!”
The Observatory
“Stopped in before Deep Purple at the start of the month. All staff were lovely, especially a young man by the name of James. Very chatty. After ordering my peroni, I wasn't able to find a seat, it was packed! Amazing sign for a pub. Staff were knowledge about the band - especially Meg, who was also going to see them!”
Marlon's Bistro
“Absolutely lovely place. Really lovely food. Excellent staff and service. Really worth a visit.”
Burger Kebab Galaxy
“Great food and lovely guys in here. It's not cheap but it's proper food.”

“Pomegranate is local no fuss and good food restaurant. Pleasant owners, very friendly. Food is simple and tasty. Tried breakfast - lunch - dinner. All good.”
Joe Allen
“Excellent cocktails and spectacular service. We went on a Friday night and even though it was busy, we never waited long for drinks. The pecan pie was delicious!”

“We went here for Mother’s Day and initially chose the place due to its convenient location. However we were pleasantly surprised, it’s actually a hidden gem! The food was amazing, pretty decor and lovely staff. Will definitely be going back.”

“New Years Eve afternoon. Party of six looking for somewhere suitable. Was greeted at One Kew Road by a lovely helpful lad, soon joined by Rachel. Rachel is a true gem. Her service was exceptional. We were so impressed how relaxed and capable she was. She gave us all an afternoon to remember. Compliments to the chef, food fantastic, good wines and beer selection. We shall all be back. Thanks to Rachel and her team.”
