“A chilled restaurant with good, inexpensive and kindly served food. I loved that it doesn't cost you a fortune to have a decent meal. The salmon teriyaki and salmon gyoza were my favourite, the chicken ramen was also good, whereas I expected a bit more for the teriyaki chicken wings and the pork gyoza. Recommended!”

“Made a reservation before coming here on a Thursday night after work and was happy that we did because 15 minutes after we sat down the restaurant was already half-filled! Last time I came here was 4 years ago and this time round I ordered the exact same dish - Kaisen don, and its safe to say that this place managed to keep it's high standard! I was very happy with the food as the sashimi was extremely fresh, came in a big portion with a layer of rice at the bottom. Thoroughly enjoyed every single bite of it and even though it's now £15 more expensive than 4 years ago I thought it was a nice treat since I don't come here often. Service was friendly, only downside was that the waiters didn't seem to be attentive enough as we had to wait and eventually ask them to come over and take our order. Other than that we had a very enjoyable experience overall. The interior is very authentic, homely, Japanese style which made me feel like I was back in Japan. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Japanese food and I will for sure come back here soon to try other things on the menu!”

“They've come a long way since the older days of before. It used to be just cobbled together bland rubbish, but now, wow they've certainly upped their game. Food is top notch, tasty and very reasonably priced. (And the one who takes the orders ain't half bad looking either ;-) )”

“I had to leave a review because when I say this is the best sushi my partner and I have ever had and think will probably ever have it isn’t an understatement. We have compared every place we have had sushi at since and nothing ever even compares to the standard of sushi here. Yes, it’s a bit pricier but it is well worth it for just how good it is. “I’ve ordered delivery many, many, many times from Sakura for a couple of years now. I’ve eaten Sushi all over the world - really good, and really bad. Short of fine dining restaurants such as Nobu, Roka, and Zuma (which obviously don’t deliver to Bromley and Orpington lol) this is the best I’ve had in the UK. Constantly VERY reliable. Clearly it’s tough to nail presentation with delivery Sushi, but for a south-East London delivery provider (where we’re all sick of pizza, kebab, burgers, fried chicken, Chinese and Indian) Samira is a refreshing change I’ve also never had a single mistake in my order. FIVE STARS especially considering location. For simplicity, please get back on JustEat or UberEats.”

“I don't normally like sushi but I absolutely love this place. Our order was prepared fresh with so much care and attention, it was a joy to see. They have great vegetarian and vegan options and the food is amazing. A very small place with only one table so it's best to take the food away but it's the perfect small restaurant to get food from when you are in the area.”

“This place is fantastic. We dined in at around 2pm and had the set katsu chicken, Egg tuck bao, pork toast, spring roll, corn fritte, lychee mojito and rice pudding for desert. Each dish was extremely tasty and well presented. Staff were friendly and the service was very fast. I'm not from the area but we would definitely go here again when next in Uxbridge.”
