It has been a Godsend though the pandemic, and just when you think it couldn't get better, they go and get a Costa machine!!!!”

“The staff at nursery were caring, attentive and loving and I could not have wished for a better care for my son. He greeted his nursery teachers with a big smile each morning, which showed how much he enjoyed his time there. We are sad to move to another nursery since we have relocated further away. The nursery has amazing outdoor area and spacious rooms inside which is a big bonus. The nursery management has been very good at implementing all COVID 19 measures and keeping children , staff and families safe .”

“Having been ordering from here for years now, since they opened! I am half Persian so know about good Persian food as my dad is an amazing cook and this restaurant has top quality food and it’s always cooked to perfection every time I order or dine in. The koobideh and joojeh is my favourite but for a stew I always have gormeh sabzi. The chips are really nice too. I have also had catering from them for a party and as usual they gave a great service! Highly recommend.”

“Some of the best food I've ever eaten in my life, I had the mixed grill, with lamb kofte, lamb pieces and chicken pieces were so flavorful, with free yoghurt and chilli. “I've only ever driven through Cheam before my visit yesterday, a trip by public transport (tram and train) from Croydon specifically to visit the Whitehall museum, housed in a grade II* listed former domestic dwelling dating from before the reign of Henry VIII. While the museum is an important place of reference for local history, geared more towards children than adults, it also houses the excellent Freedom Caffe' tearoom. The restrictions imposed by such an old, historic house may mean they can't use a normal commercial coffee machine but the range of soft drinks is impressive and more importantly, the vegan options for lunch are delicious. I highly recommend both the vegan sausage roll with salad and the vegan Greek. Then there are the cakes... The only vegan option on the day was a chocolate pear and apple cake but it was gorgeous and the staff were attentive and friendly and the food reasonably priced. I also noted the fresh pasta preparation. There's more to Cheam than the museum but whatever else you're doing it's well worth making sure you visit the Freedom Caffe' for a drink and a bite to eat.”
