I started coming here when I was living in New Cross - I now live in Dalston and still make the journey back for a haircut every month despite all the barbers in my area. The prices are extremely reasonable, I've never had to wait that long to be seen and I've been very happy with my haircut each time I've been. On top of all this the owner seems like a great guy, interesting and always willing to have a chat. I won't be going anywhere else anytime soon.”

The next biggest tick on this list is that it's an Aveda outlet so what's going on your hair is organic, non irritant and smells gorgeous. From the shampoos to colouring and finishing products you won't find anything that makes your head itch or your nose twitch. If you get a head and shoulders massage too you are getting a premium personal aromatherapy service that isn't featured in most hyped places in Chelsea, the City or the Westend. It has a wheelchair friendly entrance, ample parking outside. There are two small steps up to the wash basin section but if booking call ahead for assistance with those. I declare this an Autistic friendly business because the lighting isnt harsh, background music is precisely that.. not overpowering. Seats are extremely comfortable and a generous width. Of particular note on the salons' menu are the prices for cutting children's hair under 8 and 8 to 15. Some hairdressers do not offer must discount on adults fees to discourage having too many younger clients. In this era of Go Henry equipped Tweenies and savvy Teen shoppers it's as well to anticipate them spending their ' pocket' money on a quality hair cut as taking a trip to Vue. If your offspring need shorn before the end of summer here is a lovely place that won't hurt your pocket.”

He knows his stuff from industry knowledge to knowing the best products to use on your hair. He is also a teacher and educator in his methods which shows his credentials in the industry. This is reflected in him winning the Modern Barber award along with his fellow Barber Eli. I always have a good bit of banter with Nick when I go in which makes the experience all the better. I would recommend him to anyone as I always get a great haircut and beard trim! He is Geeziest geezer out there too”

“Let me start my change in review for this salon..... My daughters hair came out amazing. It always does and she is not the easiest of children. So its worth it but if you want to speak to someone at the salon it's short of impossible to get ahold of them live. You need to work via emails and text messages. My concern was when I tried to call, you can't, so you email (I didn't have a number to text), when you send an email the response is "Thanks for the message. We are unable to monitor this mailbox regularly and our responses may take A FEW DAYS. We're unable to book appointments via email or phone unfortunately, but all appointments can be made, edit or cancel by simply clicking the link below" I get it... this is how they work, but in the moment when you are trying to call a retailer/business its frustrating. However as my first point says my daughters hair came out AMAZING, she loves the place and so I guess you have to deal for beauty and such.”
