“This place was great! Authentic German restaurant with nice outlook over the river. Wait staff dressed accordingly and everyone was very welcoming. It’s very meat based (as would be expected) but they have some veggie/vegan options which my friends enjoyed. I had sausages, mash and sauerkraut which was yum! And of course all the beer and wine is German too. Recommend booking ahead as it gets busy - but we were luckily able to get a walk-in on a Saturday night. We were in the smoking area outside but no one was actually smoking. Tables are big and good for groups. Will be back!”

“Thai on Thames is such a hidden gem. The food is delicious and the staff are so lovely. Our favourites are the Pad Thai, massaman curry, fried cod in curry sauce and the calamari! Definitely try this place if you are in the area”

“Just spent a lovely evening at the Black Horse for the first time. Took my family for a Sunday Roast and it was exceptional. Really great food and atmosphere, plus service with a big smile from the lad behind the bar Jamie. All in all a great way to end the weekend.”

“Came here on a Saturday evening, it was super busy but they had us sat down speedily. The service was attentive, fast, and friendly. I would 100% recommend the calamari, up there with the best I’ve had! The jungle curry is supposedly spicy but it was not spicy at all, and if you’re Bengali, it tastes like a traditional Bengali chicken curry with less spice!”

“A nice new find in Kingston, very spacious and the garden at the back is a nice touch! We were welcomed by the owner who was friendly and welcoming. Last week I had a takeaway cappuccino, and this week I decided to sit in and try the chai latte which I devoured alongside a vegan croissant! My friend had the carrot cake and she said it was nice. I normally go to pret, but now I’ll probably go here because the coffee is much nicer (& organic!!) and it’s peaceful!! They have paninis too, might try next time I’m in town.”

“There curry’s are delicious. Has a very homely flavour to them which is very close to authentic Bangali/Indian curry. Had their lamb madras which was lovely, could be hotter but nonetheless was yummy. My favourite is their Dhaal dish! Absolutely scrumptious and has such a silky taste! The best Iv tasted in a very long time! Light in taste just the way it should be. I highly recommend! And food arrived piping hot!”

I order their pizza and it was lovely, since then I returned to have coffee and cakes as well as lunch, and far all products very fresh and well prepared. “Delicious anchovy, caper pizza served at comfy sofa seat in cinema accompanied by cool Cornish cider- what a treat! Interesting eating in the dark so employ taste over visual. Therefore no criticism as per last review of whether the topping reached the edge etc. it just tasted great! Agree thin base, which suits me as not a fan of thick heavy dough - topping is best bit! “I was so scared after I'd searched up the restaurant on Google, having ordered from Uber Eats. Since the Google reviews were awful, I was expecting that things would be missing, or the food would be horrible. That was not the case AT ALL! The delivery was very quick, and took around 25-30 mins at most. The food was complete. They added utensils. All the viands were filled with meat, and everything arrived still hot. The food was very tasty, and we particularly loved the Sweet and Sour Chicken. We also had some Beef with Mushrooms, which was so juicy and soft. I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant.”
