Great spot in Ilford

“We had an amazing meal on Saturday. The service was some of the best I’ve ever had. All staff knowledgeable about our order and seem to be enjoying themselves. When the staff are happy it sets a lovely vibe for the restaurant. I loved being able to see the kitchen staff preparing the meals. The food was excellent, great choice (more than I expected as a vegetarian) and everything was so tasty. The drinks were a particular highlight- fabulous wines, cocktail and gin. Will be visiting again!”

“Had a great experience at Apna Des. It was late night and they were about to close but they were kind enough to serve as as their last customers for the day. Ordered Chicken Karahi and chicken biryani and got the suggestion for Garlic naan which was really amazing. Both of the main courses were lovely, loved the quantity too. Staff was really helpful specially Annie, kudos to her. Overall: 9/10 Definitely going back very soon”

“My Experience is wonderful and outstanding, What makes this place so special is the staff who take care of all aspects of convenience and comfort of all residents, they are so kind with their 5 stars way of making you welcomed all the time. That was the cherry on top of a great modern flat that is well maintained and really beautiful. My special thanks goes to Cassandra, and Maddie for making sure any issues I face are sorted. I am happy to be part of the Picture house Family. One final thing to mention is that it is all about who manages the property and believe me Savills proved to be one of the top in the market. I have tried others and touched the huge difference specially in Ilford area. my thanks and appreciation to The Picture House Managed by Savills.”

“Yet another wonderful Pantomime at the Kenneth More. Aladin was as good as all the others we have seen or attended in over 20 years of coming. Yes the jokes are corny but isn't that what it is supposed to be. Oh no it isn't! Oh yes it is. And believe it or not the actors never age, or do they. Well done everyone and keep up the good work. Can't wait to bring my grand children if we ever get any. Until that time arrives we will be taking our friends children to continue such corny somewhat risky entertainment. Keep up the great work all. See you next year.”

The food was so tasty that it dominated everything else at the party and everyone loved the dishes. We were surprised to see people voluntarily taking home the extra food and glad to say not even a small piece went to waste. “A great experience for our kids! Our two daughters (8 and 13) had a great time here and it wasn't too expensive either. £20 per person for an hour. They provide a wetsuit and life jacket. You MUST be able to swim. Arrive at least half an hour before your slot as you need time to find and get into a wetsuit and be ready for the pep talk before entering the water. Only complaint is that it ended too early.”

“We are so very lucky to have this on our doorstep and it is easily forgotten that the London Borough of Redbridge has some of the most beautiful parks and recreational grounds that London has to offer. I came here today with friends, kids and dogs and there is just so much activity and if you just want to chill out you can do that too. Lovely little cafe and restaurant also.”
