“I’ve been trying to be more environmentally conscious these days so I was SO chuffed when I found out there was a zero waste shop in Watford! I love going in to refill my snack jars, and I might grab a cheeky flapjack whilst I’m there. The staff are super friendly and are so knowledgable. They’ve recently started selling coffee which is so convenient (just make sure you remember to bring a refillable coffee cup). Thank you Refillabell team!”

“My Pomeranian has been groomed in Teddy Bear since they are newly opened. Tracy does the groom very professional! My fur baby is now 16 and has many health problems all in a sudden that I cannot deal with his groom by myself. However Tracy never turn me down and help as much as she could. She loves dogs whole heartedly and I would recommend Teddy Bear for everyone especially who has Pomeranian.”

“I want to give this place a bad review so the queue gets shorter and I can get back in easier! It might not look like much from the outside but there's a reason why this place is packed from the moment it opens. Fantastic food, friendly helpful staff and unbelievable value for money. Every single dish we ordered (sashimi, sushi, tempura, miso) was full of flavour and freshly prepared. I can't recommend this place highly enough.”

“Today my family and I visited Tortilla in Watford. We have been regular customers here for years, but must mention how great the restaurant is. “I have dined here on several occasions with my family and friends. On each visit the same staff member served us. He built a friendly rappore and delivered excellent customer service! On one occasion I was served the incorrect food and he immediately corrected this showing great empathy. He compensated us with complimentary meals on the house. The food was great. “Had my 60th Birthday here with family and friends. The Bar is lovely and Martin and Helen are great hosts and worked with me to have a great evening. The music is soul, jazz funk and classic club anthems. Food supplied for the party was delicious, hot and plentiful. Highly recommend anyone to hire this place for any get together or just pop in and enjoy the evening. I will definitely be doing both.”

“Amazing store with a huge variety of every ingredient required for any Indian dish you wish to make plus more. They specialise in South Indian cooking & have fresh idli & dosa mixes as well as the all important fresh curry leaves. However, they also have spices for other regions too. They do a lot of imported products such as Gur, Amul Ghee, dried spices &, during Mango season, they have the most delicious honey mangos from Pakistan. A must visit for all your cooking needs.”

We had a variety of tapas - my main complaint (echoed by my mates) was that the burrata and cheese balls were undersalted. Nice place for a quieter night out.”

“We had the pleasure of staying here for New Year's Eve and News Year Day. The service was fantastic from arrival to departure. Immaculate hotel, rooms were spacious , clean and comfortable. The service in the bar and restaurant was superb too, the bar/restaurant staff were very attentive and helpful. They adapted changes to the food choices without any hesitation to ensure our 3 children were satisfied. The cleaning staff left our rooms gleaming and there was literally nothing to fault. The manageress of the cleaning staff, who was also first aid trained was absolutely superb at supporting us on new years day as our youngest had quite a dramatic nose bleed, she was so calm and experienced,that her presence and guidance helped immediately, literally can't thank her enough for her help . And Nothing was a bother, and it helped us feel at total ease, especially with 3excitable children who were desperate to visit Harry Potter's Studio on New Year's Day. The shuttle bus was also just a 5minute walk from the hotel, which was another bonus. I would definitely recommend this hotel, for quality service, location smd fantastic customer service from all of the staff and would have no hesitation to visit again or another of the Leonardo Hotels.”
