“I went here on a Saturday night to catch up with some friends I hadn't seen in a while. The atmosphere was nice and quiet, something people forget to appreciate. The food was as expected my only criticism was the menu was varied but items that were a particular type of meal weren't varied enough, the calzone had two options? They tasted great but would have liked a few different flavours.”

“Lovely pub restaurant. Cosy bar at the front with fires to make it extra cosy. We went to the rear dining room with views of the garden, and it was delightful the watching the birds, the squirrels and the fallow deer visiting the garden. Nice choice of traditional British favourites. I had beef and Guinness pudding which was tasty and also light, perfect. Very friendly and helpful staff.”

“A fantastic restaurant. Went there for the 1st time last Friday with my Mrs, ordered the Lobster Platter. Was delicious and filling for the both of us. But what impressed me most was the customer service. Such a friendly atmosphere, they make everyone feel welcome and a real community. Will definitely be coming back...”

“Went there to try the caramel speciality which is vanilla sauce, caramel sauce latte. Was really tasty and the staff were exceptionally friendly. Very clean place and a lovely christmas vibe. Nice and warm inside with comfy seating. However the only one point I would like to add is, from observation I could see they are slightly under staffed and the wait time is roughly 10 minutes for a drink.”

Although ridiculously busy all the staff were more than happy to accommodate our endless drink requests. The food was to a high standard, I would be happy bring my boss, my mum, or my friends here. “Very pleasant dining experience, we had booked a table in advance and we were shown to our table immediately, the service was very good without the waitresses bothering us, the food was excellently presented and it tasted beautiful whilst being competitively priced, very impressed and will try to go again when we are next in the area.”

I've been looking for a good Chinese takeaway provider but none come up to the standards of provision that the Papadom demonstrate. I keep coming back to Papadom because of their huge variety of flavours, their willingness to vary their dishes when asked and generous portions. And the guys in the shop are just so very polite and accommodating. Martin.”
