“I had expected the Petersham to be a bit staid, but our Christmas lunch surprised on the upside! Even playful in parts, the meal was always very good quality. Clearly, they have a talented kitchen team. Service was well paced and friendly, and the 'White Christmas' joke was fun!”

“Enjoyed a wonderful lunch, went for the tasting menu which was absolutely delicious and reasonable value relative to comparable Michelin-starred restaurants. Every course was great, absolute highlights for me were the 'chaud froid' egg (not at all what I expected but memorable), the charred bream and the lamb. Humongous amounts of truffle were (appropriately) served throughout the menu! Cocktails were excellent! Matched wines were also very good and worked with the menu, but with hindsight we'd have been better off ordering individual glasses as it was better value and there were a couple of wines not to my taste. Service was fantastic - friendly and attentive and not pretentious. Really nice, spacious restaurant interior, not crammed-in like other restaurants. Easy parking for the non-drinker (sadly, me) in the party. We will definitely visit again.”

“Food and drinks were absolutely amazing. Duck confit with a British twist was superb. Lovely vintage dessert wines were a fantastic highlight of our lunch. We walked in without a reservation, and the host managed to find a table for us. Later on the host asked us to move to a different table, which wasn’t a big deal at all. Yet, the host kept on apologizing and even gave as two glasses of wine free of charge at the end of our lunch! So nice of him! Fantastic place, highly recommended!”

“A gem hidden away in East Sheen. I’ve visited many times and rave about it to all my friends back home. It’s the reason I fell in love with carrot cake. It is so good that I haven’t found any other that compares. Highly recommended! It’s truly a lovely cafe with many delicious options and the best coffee in town. Fast service, charming ambience and warm and friendly staff. Everything about this place is worth a visit.”

“It's nice to go to a restaurant where they fill up your water glass when you're close to finishing and place your serviette on your lap. The Dragon Inn is on the prices side compared to other Chinese restaurants but you get what you pay for and the food is absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend and to book for popular evenings (Friday night etc) we ordered so many delicious starters we didn't get to a main course. Will try again next time.”

“We had been here a couple of times over the last couple of years but have recently moved within walking distance so have come three times in three weeks. The food is very tasty with good portions at very reasonable prices. The kids' pizza is massive as well! The staff are friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is actually really fun. I only didn't go for the full 5 stars for atmosphere because the music has felt a bit too loud for my liking when we've been for lunch the last two weekends. However, when we went for my birthday one evening in December, they had a live singer, who was so good we actually started debating whether he was miming to original recordings! He wasn't but he was that good! It's really nice for lunch; it's fantastic for an evening celebration meal with friends.”

“Remember when this was a proper pub but it’s now a lovely gastro pub restaurant. Great menu, great food and really friendly warm service. They even asked if we theatre goers and as we were got our food ordered and served quickly which is great attention to detail.”

We booked lunch for my mum's 60th birthday recently, the staff were so attentive & even played along with a surprise we had planned (one of my brothers has been living in Mexico and came home for the birthday, the FB team dressed him in staff uniform & had him serve our drinks - I'm not sure if she's forgiven us.) “Veganuary! Very slay. Absolutely love their vegan sausage rolls here, have been getting them for a long time and will for many years to come (god willing), and great hot choc. Perfect place for lunch and a coffee and extremely charming being nestled within one of the arches of the oldest bridge in London‼️ next to the beautiful Richmond riverside. Has an INCRED outdoor seating area which is absolutely stunning in all seasons - leafy and sunny in the shade in summer, beautiful orangy hues in the autumn, frosty and wintery in the winter…. They sometimes have fun activities in this space, like dancing on new years! (Was thoroughly disappointed I didn’t go to this one). Lovely spot for dogs and kids and very friendly staff! Hot tip - Love to come here to start off a walk down the Thames path to Chiswick bridge and back again. Lovely to sit by the edge of the wall and watch the people and boats go past…. Could sit here for hours (have done!) ☺️”

“Great Pub! came in on Friday evening, great atmosphere, nice music, not too loud, my girlfriend had a Sourdough Pizza which was awesome! I had the Jerk Salmon dish was delicious. Great selection of beers too!! Staff were really chatty and fun and helpful. Good Stuff!!”
