“This is one of the best Haitian Food restaurants I have been to anywhere including in Haiti. PERIOD! The beautiful dinning room and bar really set the stage for what is to come. The drinks are excellent and top quality (try the rhum punch or the 15-year Barbancourt). The Haitian cuisine and presentation offered here is beyond amazing and beyond delectable. It should also be said the Anglophone Caribbean dishes on the menu are also very delicious. I have been here 4 times in the last two weeks and the wait staff has always been kind and responsive. Don't miss London's only and BEST Haitian Restaurant!”

“Stumbled across this place this morning when visiting Dulwich Therapy Rooms. There is a lovely atmosphere, and everyone was super friendly. We had what must be the best coffee I’ve had for a long time and enjoyed fresh pastries straight out the over. Very reasonable prices and just such friendly guys, thanks for having us!”

“Visited on opening day. The food is delicious! Full of flavour and really fresh. We had their Greek salad, hummus, babaghanush, bread, chicken shish, lamb shish and teas. (Forgot to take photos of the food as we were too eager to eat!) It all tasted great! They've also decorated the place really nicely, feels cozy and comfortable. The staff was super friendly, even with the busyness of opening night! On top of all of that, they arranged a surprise birthday cake! They really went above and beyond as I wasn't expecting that at all on their opening day! (my partner arranged it with them) Well done on the opening, it's left a great first impression! “I only visited this place for takeaway service. But it seems it caters for a lot of night outs from the local West Middlesex Hospital, prior to the pandemic. The takeaway order was quick and tasted fantastic! I had ordered the vegetarian lunch box, which had quite generous portion, very tasty and healthy. I was also impressed with the cleanliness of the place. The interior is very spacious and can host large gatherings, which is probably why this is the chosen venue for meetings and dos from the local hospital. Luch deals are definitely recommended!”

“I am always on the hunt for a high quality halal breakfast place. Just so fed up of over priced, sub standard menus that just don't hit the spot. Until I found De Cafe Lounge on Barking Road. It is near the old West Ham Football Ground and walking distance from Upton Park Station. Plenty of parking nearby, free and paid. You are welcomed by friendly staff, a nice clean premises, large tv screen and lots of breakfast options. You can get lamb donner in your breakfast plate, yes you read it correctly, LAMB DONNER. It is sooo tasty, you will love this place. The tea seemed to have a sprinkle of safron on it, it tasted so nice, I orders another one. I never have two couples of tea back to back. The owner Imran is a lovely chap, knows his food and understands customer service. While I am writting this post, I have decided I am going to go there for breakfast NOW! Salim Patel”

“The lounges and overall business service is very good! Made flying so much more relaxed. Menu on the ground is limited but the food is tasty. The food in the air is good, never before have i even attempted to eat plane food after a bad experience many years ago. But they served a great dish on a real plate. The staff were amazing, the lounge is generally quiet and well maintained. A must for travelling in the current covid world.”

“Don't understand the low rating of this place. Absolutely 10/10 evening. The food was absolutely delicious, not your average dishes! The service of the staff was impeccable, cannot fault it at all. The lady's who waited the table were so attentive and polite, unfortunately didn't get names. We also ordered shisha and it lasted the whole evening, fantastic flavours recommended from the gentleman serving us. Biggest thank you to James who helped us with every request (there were many) thanks for being fantastic and so welcoming and accommodating, you made the evening what it was. Cannot wait to return. “TAKE_OUT: Mongolian Lamb special was delicious. All the food was perfectly cooked, fresh and delicious. Some of the best food we have had from a Chinese take-away in the area. Really recommend it! Service was friendly and helpful. (Cannot comment as yet on sitting-in.)”

I don't agree with a lot these reviews on here and had to add mine for some balance :) My 10 month old had a blast- lots to do and great selection of toys and areas to use. “Chicken shish tapas were juicy and cooked through! The cekas and hummus were so fresh and the pita was crisp and hot! Nice blend of oil in them it wasn’t overdone. The stuffed grape leaves were the best out of them all. Jam packed and classy and the side salads were light and refreshing. First place in London to eat and we will be going back!”
