"There is a very old joke about a man complaining in a Chinese restaurant about the food being rubbery and the waiter says "thank you, sir" It must have been told here first. On the upside, the vegetables were crisp and the boiled rice and Chinese tea good. The meats on the other hand... I had won ton soup, the won ton would have bounced off the walls and killed anyone on the next table, had anyone else been in there. I had barbecue pork, which surely must be a stable of any Cantonese restaurant, it was tough and tasteless: it looked the part but resisted my teeth very successfully, and they're all my own. Truly, over 45 years, the worst Chinese food I have ever been served. For aficionados of original post-war austerity furniture and decoration it is a must, just don't eat"

"TAKE_OUT: Mongolian Lamb special was delicious. All the food was perfectly cooked, fresh and delicious. Some of the best food we have had from a Chinese take-away in the area. Really recommend it! Service was friendly and helpful. (Cannot comment as yet on sitting-in.)"
