“Daisy's café at The Bunker in Uxbridge has a limited menu but they really do have the loveliest staff. (Shirley and Monika today). It's a place you could happily sit on your own or with friends. Lovely garden and planes nearby too. And The Bunker tours are fascinating.”

“I've only ever driven through Cheam before my visit yesterday, a trip by public transport (tram and train) from Croydon specifically to visit the Whitehall museum, housed in a grade II* listed former domestic dwelling dating from before the reign of Henry VIII. While the museum is an important place of reference for local history, geared more towards children than adults, it also houses the excellent Freedom Caffe' tearoom. The restrictions imposed by such an old, historic house may mean they can't use a normal commercial coffee machine but the range of soft drinks is impressive and more importantly, the vegan options for lunch are delicious. I highly recommend both the vegan sausage roll with salad and the vegan Greek. Then there are the cakes... The only vegan option on the day was a chocolate pear and apple cake but it was gorgeous and the staff were attentive and friendly and the food reasonably priced. I also noted the fresh pasta preparation. There's more to Cheam than the museum but whatever else you're doing it's well worth making sure you visit the Freedom Caffe' for a drink and a bite to eat.”

This Deli is immaculately clean and welcoming, as a Food establishment should be. The chef is always very Friendly. Although this Deli is busy , the speed at which customers are served is spot on. You not left outside in rain for ages, waiting to be served. Well done in keeping strong through the tough year, the whole world has just experienced. Lovely coffee and Sausage rolls too. Its a 5* plus from me. I , as an ex Caterer and Restaurant owner know how relentless this Industry is. You made it look so effortless.”

“Quite a nice café with very tasty food & friendly staff. It’s much bigger than it looks on the outside. There’s an outdoors seating area for sunny days, a buzzy ground floor area (both dog friendly) & a more quiet floor upstairs for people who ‘work from home’. Definitely worth a try! The photos are from dishes I’ve ordered on different occasions: mushroom on toast, salmon pancake, chicken toastie & banana bread. All delicious, but I found the chicken toastie a bit too rich/oily.”

“Amazing dishes and service and place! We got the rice covered with leave for the starter and it was so good! Also the lamb with pita bread was amazing. We asked to cut the chicken wrap in two and they were so kind to cut it nicely! The service in general was amazing and so kind. Also the place was very pretty with the gold frame without the paintings :) And I really really enjoy baklava! They said they prepare it for 4 days. The quality was so much higher from other baklava on the street. I would like to come back for sure if I want to have Greek food!”

“New favourite brunch spot! The menu is extensive (both human and doggy!) and the staff are really friendly. Our dog won't let us walk by here anymore as she knows she'll always get a cuddle and a treat! The service is fantastic and food is great, try the hot chocolate and brownies. (And for the pooches - doggy sausage goes down well with ours). Perfect for after a long doggy walk!”
