Sabeny for Kosher Online Groceries
● Closed“I am very happy to be able to order kosher food! My local Sainsbury’s has a very very small selection of kosher supplies (no meat) and Ocado has a few meat options, but not too much. Sabeny brings a whole range of kosher products directly to the door with minimum fuss! The only issues I’ve had are not with Sabeny themselves but DPD, the more fragile food items like yogurts sometimes arrive damaged, but Sabeny are quick to refund them when this happens, even though I don’t even want them to refund them because it wasn’t their fault, I just hope that DPD receive enough complaints that this stops happening. Baruch HaShem for Sabeny! I highly recommend them!”

Pizza Pilgrims Waterloo
● Closed“When your Italian friend admits that the pizzas are good here, you know that this chain is doing something right. My first visit to Waterloo and the Margherita Buffalo was great. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and let us enjoy the pizza without constant interruption. They haven't expanded recklessly and keep both quality and consistency high. I occasionally try the guest pizzas when they don't have meat on them (pizza should never have weird meat or pineapple on it). So the Lower Marsh branch is laid back, has good outdoor space and I will return soon.”

The portion of the rice is perfect but hope neta could go a bit thicker even if they have to raise the price (Still very good) gyudong and chicken teriyaki are good too, especially chicken teriyaki is highly recommended if you want hot meals. - tender, soft and the chicken soaked up the sauce pretty well. Loooved it. Gonna try everything there!”

Ma Cuisine
● Closed“A cosy French resto in Kew! Their menu is written in English and offers elegant, tasty dishes such as roasted Barbary duck breast with cardamom jus and peach and lettuce. Their starters of rabbit and pork terrine with gherkins and raspberry vinaigrette .. simply delish! There’s outdoor seating and cosy indoor seating during winter. Interesting interiors, unusual French ambience. If you don’t have time for a Eurostar ride across the channel but you’re craving the delicacies of French cuisine, this is the place. Open for both lunch and dinner. On-street parking. Just a short walk from Kew station if coming by train. Strongly recommended.”

Freshness of pasta caught our attention, truffle ravioli and wild boar tagliatelle are my favourites. Not to forget that exquisitely looking pot of Tiramisu, very inviting. Sputnick
● Closed78A Lee High Road, London SE13 5PT, United Kingdom“Great shop - as well as a whole range of Eastern European delicacies such as a huge range of salamis and meats, canned beers etc they sell Lithuanian draught beers! - dispensed into 1L or 2L plastic bottles which you then take away. I've never seen the like of this in the UK, but apparently it's common practice in Lithuania. And having tasted one selection I can strongly recommend it. £3.20 for 1L so dearer than tinnies but cheaper than a pint in a pub!”

Zen Mondo
● Closed“A very very lovely place. I feel so calm when I go here. So my sister discovered Zen Mondo just passing on the street, because of little pots in the window with little black cats on. And little pottery classes on Sundays was advertised and a Japanese restaurant Mon-Sat. So we went to make little pots! And it the most calming, enjoyable hour I've had for a long time. Just 12 people in the little restaurant turned pottery room. 2 weeks later we picked up our little pots and also came for dinner. We ordered 2 types of Green Tea in those satisfyingly heavy iron tea pots, miss soup (gf) sashimi, I highly reccomend the marinated mackerel, avocado and salmon seaweee rolls and udon noodles bowl. Definitely going back.”
