“We had pizza, calzone and tiramisu. It was lovely, quite busy and lots of birthdays going on around us. Only niggle is that we wish the tiramisu was a bit sweeter. There is a bump/step to get over to get in and toilets are downstairs, so not particularly accessible.”

“Really really good pizza. A distinctly local venue but with high quality service and pizza. They make it fresh within 10 minutes and have a proper wood oven. £7.99 for a 12 inch which is great value! Lots of choices including for dessert! Only came here first on Tuesday but have been back within the week! Highly recommend. Will be coming often.”

“The food here was excellent and the service was great too. The only (small) criticism would be that the lighting is too bright but that's just being pedantic. The pizza is cooked on the lightest homemade base and you can taste the quality of the ingredients they use right down to the delicious tomato sauce. I will definitely be coming back to try the pasts dishes and other delights.”

“A very busy pub (needs booking ahead!) But one that had great food and fast friendly service from the staff. Had a vegetable soup to start and the Sunday chicken roast followed by chocolate brownie as per the photos.”

“Lovely local Italian restaurant, very friendly service patiently explains and show me different amaro they have. Freshness of pasta caught our attention, truffle ravioli and wild boar tagliatelle are my favourites. Not to forget that exquisitely looking pot of Tiramisu, very inviting. Pricing is decent with a bottle of wine between 4 adults, we shared 3 desserts between us it came to around £40 each.”

“We were family and friends of 8 with my 6 month granddaughter. This was the first time I had been to this pub, my son in law knows it well. From start to finish it was a great experience. “My local Italian restaurant, the food is always spot on, can't fault it, always tasty and nice portions. Can walk in, but I suggest at busier times it better to book. Never been let down here, the good is consistently good. I always dine in, so can't comment on the takeaway. Plenty of free parking at the Sainsbury just behind, a few minutes walk. Awesome”

The service I was given was incredible! They went above and beyond. No music but the way this restaurant is you’d think there was a symphony behind you. Amazing is all I can say! 10 out of 10”
