“I visited here on Christmas Eve 2022 with my brothers and mother. We were served by a waiter called Ted who was beyond friendly, considerate and catered to us massively. Considering how busy it was being Christmas Eve, Ted made our experience a breeze and was the most accommodating waiter we could have asked for. Would 100% revisit and if you have Ted as a server/waiter you will be the luckiest!”

“If you are from out of town and want that REAL British food this is the place. Mushy peas, Fish and Chips, and local selections of beer. This is a pub so just expect to do things the way you would at a pub. The staff was nice to us out of towners. Good location and decent price.”

“Very friendly greeting upon arrival. Ordered poppadoms, great selection of condiments. Staff very friendly, advised on many foods on the menu (especially when asked about vegan options). The lamb tikka starter was lovely. We also had the chicken korma/pilau rice, vegetable jalfrezi/spinach rice, nan & paratha bread, lemon sorbet & coconut ice cream for dessert, all reasonably priced. I would recommend to anyone wishing to dine in the restaurant”

Very luxurious and atmospheric inside, feels like a very expensive restaurant but all the prices are very good and reasonable for what portions you get! Music was good, not too loud, so we could still talk amongst ourselves, We went on their opening day and for their first day it was a very good experience, I would for sure recommend this place to anyone! “Amazing time for a birthday dinner, highly recommend! I came to Mittee with 25 friends for a celebratory birthday dinner and from planning to the actual evening, Prachandra and the team at Mittee were great! Prachandra helped me come up with a good set menu for the night, ensuring there would a be a wide range for people to choose from and was very pro-active in making sure I had all I needed and was ready for the evening. On the night itself, they were more than ready for us when we had arrived, having kept a separate section for us and even putting up some happy birthday banners, which was a really lovely touch. The food was phenomenal, with all my friends loving their dishes, and those with dietary requirements (nut allergies, vegetarian, vegan, lactose intolerant etc..) were really well catered for. I had a wonderful time, and the front of house were amazing - with a special shout out to Ash who looked over our party really well. The restaurant itself is beautiful and a lovely venue for any type of dinner, celebration or event. The whole evening went a lot better than I could have hoped for, and I cannot wait to go back soon!
