“This place was great! Authentic German restaurant with nice outlook over the river. Wait staff dressed accordingly and everyone was very welcoming. It’s very meat based (as would be expected) but they have some veggie/vegan options which my friends enjoyed. I had sausages, mash and sauerkraut which was yum! And of course all the beer and wine is German too. Recommend booking ahead as it gets busy - but we were luckily able to get a walk-in on a Saturday night. We were in the smoking area outside but no one was actually smoking. Tables are big and good for groups. Will be back!”

“Visited this restaurant on Saturday with my sister. We ordered from the lunchtime tapas menu. There was a great variety on offer. Our food was delivered very quickly, was piping hot and fresh. The host and waiters were all friendly and polite. Service was excellent. Highlights were the salt and pepper squid, pork dumplings and Phuket mussels.”

She was very kind, understanding, skilful and precise in creating the perfect brows/lip shade for me - from shape, to colour, technique and the final look. She explained perfectly well, going into details about the treatment, what to expect and about the after care. I had my eyebrows done with Yvonne before and the job was excellent! My eyebrows have turned out exactly how I imagined them and I am delighted. I also had my full lip semi permanent done recently and I couldn’t be happier. The result was a perfect colour shade for me, natural and beautiful looking: I'm so happy with the way they both turned out and my makeup routine has became so much quicker, thanks to her brilliant work. “Popped into this fish and chip restaurant today and I'm so glad we did. My wife, two granddaughters and I all ate and I can honestly say I had the best fish and chips I have ever tasted. The chips were just like homemade chips and the fish was perfect as well.”

“Great food and service. We tried lamb tashreeb and Iraqi special kebab. Both tasted good and flavourful. They also give a lentil soup as a complementary which itself is delicious. Liked their ayran also, which was made in-house.”

“The best Indian in Kingston and always consistent! The food is delicious, always arrives hot and customer service on the phone is excellent and the so polite / friendly. Cannot recommend enough. I would say if you can then collect as they are quick at cooking but third party delivery services (like Uber Eats) are not so reliable. Obviously this is no reflection on the place itself and it's a shame that you have to call the restaurant to ask where the food is where it's put for delivery as it is no fault of theirs if it is late. I am one of those people (sorry!) but Spice Lodge are always so patient and cooperative when I do.”

“This is my favourite Post Office in Kingston, hands down. I have been their regular customer for almost 2 years now, and even though I moved to a new place and have another, closer Post Office point (Kingston Hill), I still keep visiting Hawks Local. All of their staff is super helpful, they process my business shipments impressively fast (even as late as 9:30pm), and always with a smile. Special shout-out to Ruban, JK, Kumaran and Theep - thank you so much for all your hard work, guys (...and see you next week, as always :-))!”

“I have ordered Veg Chilli Freak 5 times and every time it has been wonderful! The price is lesser than Domino's. I usually get a takeaway on my ebike which ensures hot pizza for me. A tasty medium sized pizza for £8.99 (takeaway only) is a great deal. They prepare the pizza in just 10-12 minutes and are very polite.”
