“I went here a couple of weeks ago. All the staff had such friendly, welcoming faces it really made me smile despite me not being in such a great mood. A good service makes all the difference. Breakfast was served extremely quickly too. Was also glad to see it was halal. I will definitely go back.”

“Went to this amazing restaurant in the neighbourhood. I always prefer to eat meat but this time this vegetarian restaurant served the purpose very well. I ordered Aloo Piyaz thali with sweet lassi and everything was on point. The kind lady from staff was very helpful. Ambience was great with good choice of punjabi music. Overall a very pleasant experience. 9/10 Definitely going back very soon”

“Had a great experience at Apna Des. It was late night and they were about to close but they were kind enough to serve as as their last customers for the day. Ordered Chicken Karahi and chicken biryani and got the suggestion for Garlic naan which was really amazing. Both of the main courses were lovely, loved the quantity too. The food was so tasty that it dominated everything else at the party and everyone loved the dishes. We were surprised to see people voluntarily taking home the extra food and glad to say not even a small piece went to waste. I am extremely delighted with the quality of food and the professionalism that Rohith demonstrated during this event, he was very humble and polite through out and despite of his extremely busy schedule he took the time to answer all our queries and accommodate all the changes even during the last few days of the event. “Took my friend here first time..service was great and on point.we orderd aubergine and potato meze which was served with salad and toasted bread the cold meze was mind blowing we could taste each and every flavour. “Don't go to many places on their opening week due to my thinking it will be too busy and I hate waiting for a table. However Ive seen this place get refurbished for a few weeks and the inside deco just was eye catching, so thought I had to visit this place. Went on the 3rd day of opening and was full house but luckily we got a table straight away. Due to the business there was a wait to get the order In and for the food to come out but I must admit it was worth it. Firstly the deco of this place is one of the best I've seen, so unique and elegant, was told by the owner the wall deco was painted all by hand. Food wise now managed to try a large variety of the menu as there were 7 of us eating so tried a bit from everyone and overall would give it 4 out of 5 stars, high quality ingredients were used, flavourful however felt the presentation could have been more wow factor to match then deco, hence the 4 stars but overall for everything definitely 5 stars. Management was amazing also as they weren't serving a dessert menu during opening week but the owner went back and made us an exclusive dessert just for us as we were the last table. For Thai food in East London I would say this is the place to go.”
